Day Two
write about seven of my fears
1) Clowns
i've been afraid of clowns since i opened a chain letter about an escaped criminal, dressed as a clown, murdering 2 kids and their babysitter. when ever i see a clown, i start breaking down. its scary. one time, at a parade,
a clown approached me and i got so scared and started
breaking down (i was 13 at the time.) he gave me a peice
of candy and told me to relax. as he biked away on his
little clown bike, i chucked the candy at him, and he fell
off his bike, and was run over by a clown car.
he was fine.
2) snakes-
i don't know exactly what triggered the fear, but i just am.
one story i have to tell was my first encounter with an actual
snake. we were hiking in the woods, and a small yellow and black
snake slithered past me. i screamed so loud, the front office
(which was about a mile away from where we were) drove up to where
we were to see what all the hub bub was about.
snakes are gross.
3) rejection.
After the first time i decided i was going to ask a guy out,
he rejected me. ever since then, i've been really scared of rejection
after my first couple boyfriends (and one girlfriend) i've learned
to handle rejection much better.
4) being alone.
i cant stand to be alone. when i need to use the restroom, i always
need a friend to come with me. i'm getting better, and starting to
appreciate the time to myself, but every so often, i start freaking
out, breaking down, and eventually calling someone because i'm
convinced a rapist or murderer is behind me.
5) getting dumped.
ever since my first real boyfriend dumped me for another girl,
ive been scared of getting dumped. every time i feel like im about
to get broken up with, i break it off before they get a chance.
its really annoying. especially when i still like the guy/girl
6)birds
birds. i hate them. they are just flying rodents. they are disgusting
the reason i'm afraid of them is because i was pecked and beaten in the
head by a bird when i was in 6th grade. it was traumatizing.
ever since then, i've been afraid of almost anything with wings.
7) rodents
rats are gross. mice are gross. anything of that nature, gross.
