Unexpected Love Chapter 2
A PaulDavisGriffin Fan Fiction!
“Hi mom” I said as Paul held the door open into the main office for me.
“Oh Hi Sweetie” My mom said smiling, she looked up at Paul then back at me, He threw his arm around me again.
“I didn’t know how to get back here, Paul escorted me.”
“Okay, So We are renting a Hotel room, Meg wants to come again tomorrow and watch the Rehearsal we were just in”
I turned to Paul “Are you in that rehearsal?” He nodded “Yeah I am, are you gonna come?”
I smiled “I think I will now.”
Paul Pulled me closer and whispered in my ear “My rehearsal is basically over, theres a coffee shop on campus, wanna go?” I nodded yes and yelled over my shoulder to my mom on the way out “Im going with Paul, Text if you need me.”
“Okay, be careful.” My mom yelled, distracted by Meg. The cold air hit me once again. “Come on, im freezing!” Paul took my hand and started running, pulling me in the direction of the coffee house. When we ran inside it was mostly empty besides two girls doing homework and one guy in the back, he looked up and waved at Paul, Paul waved back.
“Whose that?” I whispered
“A techie for the play im in, his name is Dave, what do you want to drink?” Paul asked taking out his wallet.
“Oh no I have-”
“No I want to pay” He said pushing my hand gently away from my pocket.
I smiled “Fine, Ill have a mocha expresso.” He ordered for us,and our drinks came fairly quickly. as we sat down my drink thawed my hands. Paul and I sat across from each other.
“So?” He said, smiling at me. “Do you like cats?”
I laughed “Yeah I love cats. I have two, Belle and Shadow”
“Im really not good at small talk.” Paul said, grinning and blushing a little.
“Well, let me try. How do you like McDaniel?”
“I love it here, everyone is great and its what i love to do” He said before he took a drink of his coffee.
“And, don’t think im a creep but I am a griffling,” I said quietly laughing at myself, “but how are your cats, and your new apartment?”
He laughed “Cats are great, gosh I freakin love cats! and My apartment is coming along, I still add little things to it as I find pictures and what not.”
“And how are mama and papa Griff?” I said joking around
“They are doing fine” he said kind of nodding doing small chuckles.
“And you still working out?” I asked, continuing to joke around
“Yup, just pumping my right arm.” He laughed before finishing off his drink.
“Well, This has been extremely awkward..” I said laughing, then finishing my cup.
We both stood up, even though that was awkward, and fairly quick, I liked being with Paul.
“Hey, Lets go to my car I think I have a coat” Paul said holding open the door for me.
“Sounds good” I said through shivers, Paul let out a small chuckle as he started shivering. Then all of a sudden there was a down pour.
“Oh my gosh!” I said sticking out my hands and looking up, I looked over at Paul who was laughing, and I joined in.
“Wheres your car?” I yelled over the rain
“Right up there!” He unlocked it and I saw the headlights flicker through the pellets of rain.
“AHH!!!” I screamed as I started running to his car. Paul was suddenly running next to me holding my hand, we were both sheilding our eyes with our one hand not occupied. The rain felt like tiny needles on my skin. When we reached his car I hopped in the back seat and he hopped in on the other side, we were both laughing. He leaned forward and turned the car on, including the heat and blaring music, He turned it down and changed that station to some romance song I didn’t know.
He shook out his hair and took off his shirt and grabbed a new one from the front seat and slid it on, he leaned forward and grabbed another one for me, I slid it on then took off my wet shirt while wearing the other one, a trick I always used.
“Here” He handed me a soft, red blanket that he'd unfolded from the seat he was sitting in. He wrapped it around us and we cuddled close together slowly drying and warming up. We were still laughing a little then we met eyes and we both stopped and gazed at each other. He slowly leaned in and we kissed, just a small peck. I rested my head on his shoulder and he started softly singing the song on the radio in my ear. After a half an hour of cuddling and not even having to talk it wasn't awkward but my mom inturrupted us with with a call,
"Its my mom" I said, kind of sadly.
"Hello? Hi, Yeah Im with Paul...His car...Mom Calm- Mom, Mom. It started rainging on our way back to the office so we jumped in his car so we wouldn't be drenched! Yeah okay mom. Okay. What hotel? Okay, yes. okay! bye!"
"Everything okay?" Paul asked rubbing my arm.
"Yeah, my mom wants me to walk to some Inn on brackett street."
"Thats at least 20 minutes away! You can't walk. Let me drive you." He said smiling all excited.
"Yeah, That sounds good." I said smiling back. He climbed from the back seat to the drivers seat, he patted the passenger seat and I climbed up to, still wrapped in the blanket. I sat down and off we drove. Paul took my hand and drove with the other.

Unexpected Love
A PaulDavisGriffin Fan Fiction!
I couldn’t believe my sister was going to check out McDaniel college. THE college Paul Davis Griffin goes to! My favorite Youtuber and Crush, even thought I only know him from his videos.
I couldn’t even sit still in the back seat.
“Nicole Stop Kicking my seat” My mom said laughing. “Why are you so...excited?” Meg asked. She’s my older sister. Her long wavy hair was down and she had on Jeans and a sweater, a casual look.
“I’ve told you already!”
“Huh?” Meg said, turning around taking out her headphones.
“Nevermind” I said returning to look out the window. I rested my head against the window, we left at 4 this morning. Its an eleven hour ride.
I better meet Paul, I got up that early...
I thought to myself. I let out a sigh.
“Nicole, stop that.” my mom said
“Stop what?”
“Sighing loudly..”
“Are we almost there?” I said, not wanting my mom to get mad at me.
“Yes, 5 minutes”
I started getting nervous.
what is wrong with me?
I thought
He is just a person. You know him from youtube. He isn’t “famous”...I CANT WAIT!
I flailed my hands and whacked one on the window.
“Ouch..” I whispered shaking out my hand.
I adjusted my green sweater and brushed off my dark jeans. I ran my hair through my auburn hair to make sure it wasnt tangled but had a casually/cute/messy look. I was getting impatient.
“Finally!” Meg sighed sitting up
We pulled into McDaniel college. I sat up and unbuckled, I leaned foward to look at the college. Meg was just going to look, she liked the college from what she’d heard and came to see it in person. She wanted to do work with theatre.
“So the person whose showing me around is Candace. She said to meet her in the main office”
My Mom put the car in park and rubbed her hands together.
“Alright! Lets go!”  We all hoped out of the car and stretched. We made our way to the main office and met Candace. She had long, straight black hair and wore a cute fall dress with leggings and a coat. Meg, My Mum and her talked for a while then Candace clapped her hands together.
“Alright," she said smiling, "So why don’t we head down and I can show you the stage, Theres a rehearsal going on but they'll end soon.”
We all walked to the theatre. I awkwardly walked behind Candace, Meg and My mum. My mum just asked questions, Meg listened carefully. They seemed to forget I was with them. I didn’t mind, It was meg’s trip. We walked into the Auditorium and I head Paul’s voice boom through the place and my heart just about dropped. I kept myself from running as Candace threw open the doors and I saw Paul standing on stage. We made our way to the front row and Candace snuck over to the director and introduced Meg to the director. I sat down and watched Paul.
“Take five guys!” The director shouted as he got up, engaged in a conversation with Meg. The director called Paul over.
“Paul, This is Meg. She might be coming here.” He said introducing them.
“Awesome! Hi Meg, Im Paul” They shook hands and I saw Meg grin at me and raise her eyebrows, she knew exactly who he was. All of a Sudden the director swept away my mom, meg and candace and I was left with Paul.
“Paul?” I said. He turned around and I just stood there, frozen.
“Did you say my name?” He said laughing
“Uh Yeah..” I did a nervous laugh, and cleared my throat.
“Im Nicole and I uh. I watch your videos, and im subscribedto you, on Youtube and im a big fan”
“Wow! Thats great!” He offered out his hand for me to shake it.
“I dont know why but im really nervous..” I blurted out, I felt my face get red.
“See I dont understand that, Im not “famous” per-say” He said letting out a small loud laugh.
“Well for people like, well, Grifflings, Your so funny and awesome and I think its more that we all are so amazed to be meeting you” I felt myself calming down, it was becoming easier to talk.
“Thats a good way of putting it, so was that your sister?” He gestured to where Meg had left with the director.
“Meg? Yeah.”
“Did you come with her for support?”
“Actually I came because I wanted to meet you” I said laughing.
Before he could say anything the Director came and yelled
“Alright! Lets get back to it!”
“I have to go” Paul said. I felt kinda sad, I really wanted to keep talking to him. The director came up to me “Are you Nicole?”
“Yeah?” I said a little confused.
“Your mother and sister went to the main office”
“Oh, Okay I-” The director interrupted me.
“Paul, Take Nicole to the main office.” He said and he turned around and yelled for the actors to start.
“Lets go” Paul whispered, I followed him until we hit the cool fall air.
“Whew!” He said “Its cold” He shoved his hands in his pockets.
“Sorry to make you leave your rehearsal.” I said, embaressed He had to take me to the main office.
“Oh No! Im glad. We rehearsed my scene so many times my legs are killing me." He said Laughing, like he always does, his laugh is so adorable. I saw a bench ahead of us.
“Wanna sit for a sec?” I gestured to it up ahead.
“If you dont mind, yeah, my legs are so tired!"
We sat down on the bench for a long time of awkward silence.
“How old are you?” He asked suddenly
“Im 15”
“Oh, wow you look older then that.” He said turning to face me.
“I get that a lot, actually” I said laughing a little. “Do you wanna get a coffee after this?” I asked him.
“Yeah sure.” He said
“You dont have to pity or be nice to me, I just want to talk. Its really cool meeting you” I said, not wanting to feel like he has to babysit me.
“No, Actually I want to.” He said “I should get you back to the main office."
“Im old enough, they wont worry.” I said trying to sound mature.
“Well, its just, you look freezing.” He said. I looked down realizing I didn't have a jacket and as he mentioned it the cold air really hit me.
“Yeah I am” I said starting to shiver and laugh.
“Well, I dont have a coat..” He said laughing
“We laugh a lot” I said, laughing of course. We got up and Paul threw his arm around me and rubbed the arm that was under his armpit, as we walked back to the main office.
