Where does this strike you in your life today?
Perhaps like that desperate woman who shared her secret with me, you feel that you have sinned to much.
Abortion, adultery, drug or alcohol abuse, sexual immurality, deceit- each had it's own pecuhian stigma, and shame attached brings down the weight of the world on a human soul.
Jesus died for those sins, all those sins, every one of those sins.

What i long for in the hearts and minds of those who love God is that we would embrace two things that are true even when they seem to contradict on another:
Life is hard, and God is good.
i know it might not be the prettiest quote but its true in my mind and you don't need a pimp qoute to love God.

All you have to do is love God with all you have and let God love others through you. You don't have to fix anyone, be first in your class, or win the race.
Just love God.

Through the years
I'd been performing,
craving approval,
executing clever feats
so that God would give me the blue ribbon.
Then i began to discover another way to live.
Its a way based on nothing that i bring to the show
but based absolutely on what Jesus Christ had already done.

One night i had a dream. I was walking along the beach with the Lord and across the sky flashed scenes form my life. In each scene i noticed two sets of footprints in the sand and, to my surprise, i noticed that many times along the path of life there was only one set of footprints. And i noticed that it was during the lowest and saddest times in my life. I asked the Lord about it, "Lord, You said that once i decided to follow You, You would walk with me all the way. But i noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why You left my side when i needed You most."
