Life of a Lesbian
CHAPTER ONE
'Oh my god, I thought we'd never get out of that hell hole,' my best friend Alicia sighed to me as we walked out of the school doors into the fresh air.
'Me either. The year just kept going on &..'
I began to say but was interuppted by my boyfriend, Lachlan.
'Hey baby. A couple of us are going to go down to the lake & have some drinks. Want to join us', Lachlan asked.
'Sorry babe, can't. Alicia & I are going to go downtown for a few hours. Did you want to come with us or are you going to still go down to the lake?'
'I would, but I kind of promised Jesse I'd meet him there soon', he said quietly.
'Ahh, it's ok, I understand baby', I assured him.
Lachlan seemed somewhat awkward talking to me. Maybe it was because Alicia was there.
'Are you ok Lachy?' I asked worridly.
'Yes babe, I'm fine', he smiled.
With that, Lachlan kissed me with his soft, pink lips & headed for Jesse.
Alicia waited for about five seconds before she screamed out, 'AHHHH! YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!'
The whole of the school turned to Alicia & I.
'SHHH! You are so embarrassing' I yelled blushingly.
Some people laughed at the situation, others gave us dirty looks & went on with what they were doing. Why wouldn't they give us dirty looks? I was going out with Lachlan, what I thought was they perfect person for me. He wasn't the skinny, but he wasn't fat either. He has light brown hair pulled to the side at the front & spiked at the back, the cutest braces & a voice that would make your heart sink with just a whisper of it.
What I didn't quite understand was why he was with me. A girl with acne, overweight, absolutely no sense of style & was flat chested. I guess he was mature enough to look above that sterotypical stuff.
Alicia & I started to walk downtown which would take about half an hour.
'Serena, I think you've got yourself a keeper. Lachlan is so sweet & he doesn't even care what you look like. I mean, he does, but he see's you as beautiful with whatever you look like', Alicia stated in a very serious tone.
'Hahah, back off miss serious. He's mine, & hopefully always will be.'
'Oh, I wasn't like, trying to take him from you, I was just saying', she jokeingly said.
'Yeah I know, I just get so jealous of every girl he talks to, you know?'
'Yeah.. I know how that feels..'
