A one direction fanfic
Prologue
I used to be another one of the girls in the sea of screaming lungs and crying eyes. Whose tweets would get lost in the millions sent everyday. Who would make a fan video for YouTube and have it only get 3 views; Mum, Dad and best friend. I used to be the girl who would enter every meet and greet contest possible, but never win. The one who smothered her wall in posters of them. I loved them all but there was something about the blonde one that just… made me love him that little bit more. I used to sit there, just staring at him, wondering what it would be like to be his girl. But you see, reader? I don't wonder anymore. I know. We have been together for 13 months now, the happiest months of my life. I am no longer in the sea, I am backstage, I don't tweet him anymore, I text him, my YouTube videos get thousands of hits, there is no longer any need to win meet and greet competitions and I took the majority of my posters down. Him being my boyfriend and all, it was a bit weird. Today, reader, I will not be telling you about the place I am right now, but about how I got there. About the luck I have received. About chasing my dreams. About how I ended up sharing my life with the beautiful Niall James Horan.
Author's note: Thanks to your faves, I am now writing my fanfic! I wrote this prologue a while back and i needed motivation to keep writing so thank you guys! A couple of things, please don't ask to be in the story, all the characters will be based on my friends. any feedback you have, please share! Daddy's Girl
Introduction
"I think that one looks like a bunny!" I giggled, pointed to a cloud in the sky.
"Daddy, can I have a bunny?" I pleaded, rolling on my side and facing my dad who was laying beside me.
"Sky, no sweetie. We've been over this before, you have a puppy! Don't you love Chezzy?" I nodded, silently wishing I could have a bunny to play with too.
"But my sixth birthday is tomorrow, daddy! That's a whole nother hand!" I shouted, putting up six fingers to show him what I meant.
"Yes, I know. But mommy and I already decided no more pets for awhile, okay?" I crossed my hands over my chest and pouted.
"C'mon, it's almost dinner time. We should head home." He suggested, picking me up and flinging me onto his shoulders and picking up the blanket we were laying on.
I tightly gripped both his hands as he ran across the open field, past a musky pond, and down the road to our normal looking house.
After dinner, I slipped into bed, not wanting to sleep.
"Just another few minutes, daddy! I'm gonna be a big girl tomorrow!" I begged. He shook his head no and tucked me in. He gave me a light kiss on the forehead and turned off the lights.
"Goodnight princess, see you in the morning." He cooed, slowly closing my door.
I shut my eyes, and awaited for the best day ever to come.

Chapter 12
We swam to the next boat over and we were helped in.
"Hey bro," Austin said.
"Hey," the guy turned to me, "I'm Jeff, and you are?"
I smiled, "I'm Tori."
"Damn. You with this clown Tori?" Jeff said referring to Austin.
I smiled and laughed, "Just friends."
He nodded, "I dig it. Do you guys want some drinks?" He asked pointing to a cooler.
"Yeah man. Get me a beer." Austin said.
I looked at him confused and he shrugged.
"And for you cutie?" Jeff asked me.
I smiled, "Whatever you want."
He nodded, "Got it."
Jeff came back with two drinks. I could smell the alcohol dense in the cup.
"Uhm. Hey Jeff. Tori's-" Austin began.
"Tori's fine." I said too him.
We started drinking and I immeditely felt myself gag.
It was stronger and more bitter than anything I've ever tasted.
While Austin and Jeff talked, I looked around the other boats parked.
Everyone was dancing and hooking up.
I saw Willow and looked around for Jonah.
I saw him sitting on our boat, not talking to anyone.
"Hey," I said interrupting Austin, "I'll be right back."
He nodded, "Okay."
I put my drink down and dove into the water, swimming back to our boat.
I climbed on and went to sit by Jonah.
"Hey." I said looking out into the ocean.
He looked up at me and smiled, "Hey." he whispered.

Jonah's POV
Tori. Austin. Tori. Austin.
I gave myself to that girl, never letting myself fall this hard.
Tori. The way she flipped her hair behind her ear when she was nervous.
The way her eyes crinkled up with each smile.
She was.. beautiful.
"Hey." someone whispered to me.
I looked up and saw Tori sitting next to me.
Her eyes were glassy, reflecting the color of the ocean.
Her brown hair was blown around in the wind.
"Hey," I whispered slightly.
"Why aren't you partying silly?" She asked me, throwing her hair over her shoulders.
I smiled, "Not in the mood. To much on my mind."
"Like what?" She asked, smiling.
The way her nose crinkled when she smiled made me go crazy.
I took a breathe and looked down.
"It's nothing. Really." I said again.
She turned to me, put one leg under the other and bent her knee.
"Tell me. Now." She said again.
I turned to her, "Why are you with Austin?" I asked her.
"Were just friends." She said, confused.
"Why are you ignoring me?" I asked.
"Because you made out with Willow."
"She kissed me." I counteracted.
"But you didn't pull away." She said in a light voice, before jumping up and running.
"Tori. Wait." I screamed at her.
"Wha-" She turned around to quickly and fell out of the boat. Her leg bent in an unnatural position.
"TORI." I screamed at her, running up to her.
I lifted her out of the water.
"Tori. Can you hear me?" I asked.
"MY LEGGG." She screamed loudly, her eyes closed with pain.
"SOMEONE CALL 9-1-1." I screamed.

"So," I began, "What's a-"
I got cut off by Jonah yelling, "Willow. Trina. Over here."
I looked over and saw nothing but the devil herself walking over.
She didn't acknowledge me but made damn sure to make me jealous.
She hugged Jonah tight, shoving her boobs all over him, then did the same to Austin.
Austin wasn't having it though. He came over and stood next to me, touching my arm.
"Hey, you must be Tori." the girl named Trina said coming up to me.
She held out her hand and smiled, I shook it.
"Yeah. Who are you?" I asked.
"Jonah's sister. He talks about you all the time." She said giggling.
"Trina. Shut the f/ck up." Jonah yelled at her.
Austin put his hands over his eyes and laughed.
"It's true." She whispered before walking towards Alec.
I smiled and laughed, then I turned to Austin.
"So, what's a boat party?" I asked.
He smiled, "We all take boats or yatchts out to this beach and we tie them up and do some boat hopping." He pointed out the boat ready for us to go.
I smiled, "Oh. Sounds good."
"Yeah. Were gonna go now. Wanna help out the alpha?" He winked at me.
I smiled, "I'll be the uhm.. What's it called?"
He laughed at me, "The beta."
I grinned, "Yeah that."
He laughed, "Okay everyone. Get your butts on the boat."
Everyone made there way to the boat. The girls stripped down into their bathing suits.
I did the same and put my clothes wear Austin told me too.
"Come here." He said leading me to the deck of the ship.
He started up the boat and it sped along the water.
"Your good at this." I said appreciatively.
He smiled, "I love boating. It's the best.."
"You know what you're doing."
He smiled, "Wanna try?" He asked me.
I shook my head, "No. I'd crash this thing."
He smiled and reached his hand out towards me. "Come here."
He led me along and put me in front of him.
"Put one hand here, and the other here." He said smiling.
I curled my fingers over the wheel and he put his hands over me.
He was close enough that his stomach was touching me.
I looked up and smiled at him.
We drove that way for about 20 minutes before Austin pointed something out.
"Look, that's where were going."
I saw a beach and I saw around 6 boats driving in.
I smiled, "Woohoo. Let's party."
He smiled and took a turn and drove as fast as he could to the island.
He parked his boat next to the others and smiled, "Jump out with me."
He said holding his hand out.
I looked at him, "No. No. It's okay."
He laughed at me, "It's the point. Come on."
"Yo Austin and the cutie next to him. Come over here." Someone yelled.
Austin dove in and smiled, "Come on."
I jumped in next to him and smiled. He held my hand and swam with me to the next boat.
I turned around and saw Jonah staring at us with lazers practically shooting from his eye.
'Good.' I thought to myself.

Chapter10
The next morning I woke up with a sudden flash of memories coming back to me.
Jonah, Willow, Austin.
I felt tears coming to my eyes but I quickly stopped them.
Love was just a word, right?
Why was I going to let myself get all worked up over a player.
I heard my phone ringing and I tried finding it.
"Hello?" I said once I answered.
"Hey, It's Austin. Drive up to eastwood by 1. There's a boat party."
"A what?" I asked confused.
"A boat party. I'll text you everything. Just, be ready by one."
"Okay." I said unsure.
I got into the shower and I let the warm water relax my muscles.
I let it drip all over me before I realized I was going to run late.
Not exactly sure on what to wear I put on a cheetah bathing suit.
On top I put a black, tied top and some jean shorts.
I put on my cheetah nike's and left the house.
I drove the way Austin told me too and I got out of my car.
A few minutes later Jonah, Austin, Alec and a few other guys drove up.
I smiled at them as they came and hugged Austin and Alec.
"So, Where are the other girls?" I asked confused.
Austin got a grim look on his face, "They all cancelled. They decided to do a spa day instead."
"So, I'm the only girl there?" I asked.
"Nah. You'll see when we get there. Now, do you want to drive your car or come with us?" He asked pointing to his car.
I smiled, "I'll ride with you guys."
"You can have shot gun." He said laughing.
"OMG. It's my dream. Tear Tear."
Everyone laughed as we hopped into the car and drove off.
After 45 minutes of driving I turned to Austin, "How much longer?" I whined at him.
He laughed, "Shut up you big baby. Only 2 minutes. The port is up there."
I rolled my eyes, "K."
The next thing I know I was getting tickled to death.
"Say K to me again Tori. Just say it." He said tickling me.
"Oh. I'm Sorry." I said gasping and laughing.
He smiled and pulled his hand away. He parked the car and got out. "That's what I thought."
"K." I said and ran off.
I ran pretty fast from all the sports he did but he caught up quickly.
He lifted me up by the stomach and threw me over his shoulder.
"Say K to me again and you're going in this ocean."
"No, you won't." I screamed at him.
"Apologize." He said laughing.
"I'm sorry." I squeeked.
He put me down and laughed, "It's okay. Now, lets go back and get this boat party started."
We went back laughing and I could see the hurt on Jonah's face.
'Good.' I thought to myself. 'Let the player get hurt.'

I walked into the party and I heard the gossip about me.
"She was wearing Jonah Malcom hoodies."
"Why would she just throw it on the floor?"
"She's not even THAT pretty?"
"Seriously. Why would Jonah want her."
"Damn. That girl is sexy. Who is she?"
"I don't know man. But I want her digits."
I blocked out all the gossip and made my way tot he fire with Austin.
We sat down on a log and started toasting marshmellows.
He sat close and I could smell his cologne.
He smiled and leaned into me. "Want something to drink?"
I thought about how I never drank and then I thought about Jonah.
"Get me the strongest thing you have and a lot of it."
I was going to drink tonight, drink until every guy looked like him.
I smiled as Austin sat down with a drink.
I could smell the alcohol and how potent it was, it was gagging me.
"You okay?" Austin asked me.
I smiled, "I've just never drank. That's all."
"Then don't drink." He said grabbing the drink from my hand.
"No, it's okay." I tried reaching over him.
He spilled the drink on the floor and turned to me, "You're not going to drink." He said sharply.
I frowned at him, "Why?"
"Because drinking screws you up, badly."
I looked at his red cup, "You're drinking."
He smiled at me, "Taste this." He said handing me the cup.
I tasted it and it tasted like pepsi. "You don't drink?" I said smiling at him.
"Nope, never been into it much."
"Good, I hate drinking."
"It's not cute when girls drink." He said as he looked straight at sloppy Willow.
I smiled, "It's not cute for guys either." I said staring at Jonah.
He laughed, "Hm. Once everyone leaves. I'll drive you home. You need someone sober to drive you home."
I smiled, "Sounds good."
We talked and laughed for a while when suddenly Jonah came and sat next to me.
"Tori, I love you." He said leaning on top of me.
His hands were going wild and grabbing me.
Austin pushed him off of me, "Bro. Get your act straight." He said pushing him up.
Jonah groaned, "Oh my God. Tori. Forgive me." He said.
He had a shiny sheen over his forhead and he looked green.
"Are you okay Jonah?" I asked him warily.
"No." He said before puking all over me.
"OH MY F/CKING GOD EWWWWWW." I screamed out loud.
Jonah passed out on the floor right next to the fire.
Austin looked at me and Jonah, "Come on Tori. I'll get you something else to wear."
He took me and stepped over Derek before taking me to his room.
"Go wash up if you want. I'll find you some clothes." He said to me.
I went into the bathroom and washed up.
"Oh my gosh. ew." I thought to myself.
I washed up a bit making sure I smelt okay before leaving the bathroom.
"Here." He said handing me some clothes.
He handed me a pair of boxers and a soccer t-shirt.
"Sorry, it's the best I could do." He said embarassed.
I smiled, "It's okay. Better than nothing."
"For who?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.
I giggled and changed into the clothes quickly.
"Thanks, for everything." I said giving him a quick peck on the cheek.
He smiled, "Anytime."

Tori's POV
I went to the drink table to get drinks when Austin came up to me.
"Hey. Glad you came." He said opening up his arms.
I gave him a quick hug and smiled, "Same here."
We walked and talked while I went to get Jonah his beer.
I was trying to get the beer out of the keg but it wasn't working.
"Come here idiot, this is how you do it." Austin said putting his hands over mine.
The beer came out and he smiled, "Your hands are freezing."
I smiled, "I'm always cold."
"Want me to warm those up for you?" He winked at me.
"Jonah already used that one on me." I said looking up.
"I bet he uses things like that on a lot of girls." Austin said distracted.
I realized he was staring at something and I looked up and saw Jonah and Willow kissing.
I stared at them for what felt like an eternity before I gasped out loud.
Jonah looked up and saw me staring, I threw the drinks at him and left the fire.
I took his hoodie off and threw it on the floor and stomped on it, leaving me in only a tight, tank top.
"Wait. Tori." Jonah yelled after me, but I didn't listen.
When I was out of Austins' backyard I turned and started walking home when I felt a hand on me.
I screamed loudly then I felt a hand over my mouth.
"Its me. Austin." The voice said.
I wiped my tears and turned around, he looked at my and hugged me tight.
"It's okay to keep crying." He whispered in my ears.
"I don't want to cry anymore. I don't know why I did." I croaked loudly.
He frowned, "Jonah makes every girl fall for him. It's disgusting."
"I figured. I don't know why I did though." I felt the tears coming to my eyes again.
Austin had his arms wrapped around my waist and he was holding me tight when we heard footsteps.
"Tori? Austin?" A familiar voice said.
We looked up and saw Jonah standing there.
I looked at him and turned away.
"Hey, bro. Can I talk to Tori for a second?" Jonah asked.
Austin looked at me and I nodded.
I walked with Jonah to a private spot accross the street.
"I'm sorry To-" Jonah began but I cut him off.
"Don't be. Go be with Willow." I said in a b/tchy voice.
"I don't want her. I want you." He said to me.
"Didn't look like that."
I saw his bright, blue eyes get wattery. His whole face looked sad. His dark red lips pulled down into a frown and he looked up.
His eyes looked glassy, breakable. Like he was trying not to cry.
"Tori, I haven't felt this way about a girl in a while." He said to me.
"Oh Willow? Then go be with her."
"Tori."
"What?" I screamed at him.
"Tori.. Your the only one for me. Willow kissed me."
"I'm sure." I said in an ignorant tone.
"Tori.. Your beautiful." He whispered at me, leaning in.
I pushed him away and ran towards Austin, "Now you can see what your missing out on."
I walked towards Austin and back into the party.
