Chapter One;;
Dear Diary,
Good morning! So yeah, I'm kind of new to all this Diary crap. (No offence) But if you want to know a bit about me, here I go;
My full name is Taylor Marie Sanders. I'm 16, and my birthday is on June 16th. I'm a Junior in high school. I go to Aledale High School. I have one brother named Shane, who is a Senior, and a little sister, Sara, who is seven. Me and my parents don't talk much. Even though we live in the same house, I try to ignore them. They're a bunch of drunks. Going to the bar every night, making me, Shane, and little Sara to care for ourselves. I get in trouble a lot at school. Yes, I bully, and start fights. I've gotten suspended a minimum of times. And detention. I mostly get C's, D's, and F's. Never been on the honor role, never will. Shane is just like me. Except he's way more popular than i ever was. He's the star of the football team, the high school hottie, what else could I say. I wasn't a cheerleader, although everyone keeps pressuring me to be one. I'm currently having boy-problems too. Austin Calton. Sadly, he already has a girlfriend. The snotty, bratty, cheerleading captain. Adrena. I hated her. Sometimes, well all the time, I just feel like... like... never mind.

When I had finally finished my entry, I threw it back on the floor. My room was a mess. A big, freaking mess. There way no way I was going to go clean all this crap up.
It was already 11:46 p.m. Really, I didn't want to go to sleep, but I was tired, too tired to say another word. Suddenly, Sara slowly opened the door to my room.
She came running over to me, and hopped up on my bed. I cradled her in my arms.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
Sara looked at me with hurt eyes. "Mommy and Daddy still aren't home. But Shane is. He's been drinking." Then she stopped, as tears came pouring down her face. He lifted up her sleeve to her shirt, no reveal a big bruise.
"Sara?!? What happened?!?"
"S-Shane hit me." She finally managed to say.
"Ok, stay here." I told her, and crept out of my room. First, I looked for Shane in the living room. Wasn't there.
Then I looked in the kitchen. Nope. The last place I looked was in his bedroom. And sure enough, he was there. But he wasn't the only one. They both looked at me.

My grin had gotten wider now, and I was making my way over to Erin.
"WELCOME BACK ERIN!!"
Her eyes grew wide with surprise, and excitement.
"You guys really did all of this? For me?" She still looked puzzled, as if she only knew half of what we were saying.
Me, Ellie, and Stephanie nodded. "Yeah, pretty much." We all said at the same exact time.
"But why? It's not my birthday or any of that crap, you know." She smiled, trying not to offend us, even though it wasn't even offensive.
The three of us looked at each other. "Well, we knew you missed us, and we missed you," I said, then Stephanie took over.
"And we knew you were really upset your parent's would let us come with you,"
Now Ellie bud in, "So we threw you a party, to welcome you back."
Erin smiled sweetly, and said, "Guys, you didn't have to go through all of this," She started, "I was only gone for a week."
"And a half!" Ellie added.
As if I wasn't expecting what was going to happen next, Erin hugged all three of us.
After all the hugging crap was over, we went over to the snack table and got some punch to drink. Erin poured each and every one of us a glass.
"Thanks!" We all said. Next, Steph suggested we go dance. So we did.
We weren't all dressed up of anything, just in casual, normal everyday clothes. Nothing new.
"Erin!" I called, trying to sound loud over the booming music. Quickly, she ran over to me.
"Yeah?" She said.
"I have a surprise for you." I answered, and let her over to the benches.

Quickly, I looked at the texts;
elliegurl12: heyy erin <3 are u coming to crownridge?
I texted back: love3erin: hiii ellie (: and yaa, me and bree are on our way
elliegurl12: kk,but hurry up. i told bree to tell u to be here on a certain time
love3erin: i know bree told me (: so we'll b there in a few min.

I flipped my phone closed, and stuffed it back in my purse.
A few minutes later, we had pulled into the Crownridge parking lot. I looked at the time. We still had a few minutes.
"We're here!" BreeAnn said, throwing her arms up.
"Yeah.." I said sarcastically, "I can see that..."
Both me and Bree got out of the car at the same time. As I slammed the door shut, I looked both ways for any passing cars, then went to go catch up with Bree.
"Wait up," I yelled.
"Well hurry then!" BreeAnn replied.
I ran up to her as fast as I possibly could. BreeAnn was grining from ear to ear.
Now, I really wanted to know what was going on.
As me and Bree walked through the sliding doors, I nearly fainted at what I saw.
Suddenly everyone yelled, "WELCOME BACK ERIN!" As I looked around, I saw that there was a big sign hanging up, painted in big, purple letters; 'WELCOME BACK, ERIN'. What I also saw, was a table for the drinks and snacks, and a rather big table for presents.
Wow, even presents? What is this, my birthday?
