    here is a great story.....
A girl went to a party and
she ended up staying longer than she
planned, and had to walk home alone.
    She wasn't afraid
because it was a small town, and she lived
    only a few blocks away.
As she walked along under the tall elm
trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from
    harm and danger.
When she reached the alley, which was a
short cut to her house, she decided to take it.
However, halfway down the alley she
noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.
She became uneasy and began to pray,
    asking for God's protection.
Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness
and security wrapped round her, she felt as
though someone was walking with her.
when she reached the end of the alley,
she walked right past the man and arrived
    home safely.
The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been killed in the same alley just
twenty minutes after she had been there.
Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and
the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep.
Thanking the Lord for her safety and to
help this young woman, she decided to go to the
    police station.
She felt she could recognize the man,
so she told them her story.
The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him.
She agreed and immediately pointed out
the man she had seen in the alley the night before.
When the man was told he had been
identified, he immediately broke down and confessed
The officer thanked Diane for her bravery
and asked if there was anything they could do
for her She asked if they would ask the man one question.
Diane was curious as to why he had not
attacked her When the policeman asked him, he answered, Because she wasn't alone.
She had two tall men walking on either side of her.
Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone.
Did you know that 97% of teenagers will not stand up for God?
    Fav. this if you truly
    believe in God

So let’s say that theoretically I really like you, and theoretically even though it sounds moronically cliché and overused, you give me butterflies. And just for kicks, lets add that all in theory of course you may be one of the most wonderful people I have ever met, and hypothetically my heart beats ten times faster when I see you. Do you think that you would supposedly and in the most theoretical sense feel the same way?

    Our Summer
    Chapter 43
The next morning, I slept in until almost eight. When I headed out to the kitchen, I realized I was the only kid awake. I wondered what time Brayden and Jamie had gotten home last night.
I sat in the living room for awhile until Jamie came out and sat next to me. She looked tired, but blissfully happy.
    “Good morning,” I said.
“Why’d you leave last night?” she asked curiously.
“Got bored,” I shrugged. “Where’d you and Alex go?” I asked, trying not to sound annoyed that she had ditched me.
“Nowhere,” she smiled giddily – was she blushing?
“Ooh,” I pushed her shoulder gently and wiggled my eyebrows.
    “What?” she laughed.
“You left, too, didn’t you?” I realized.
“Maybe – but not as early as you,” she said. I made a face at her.
    “So where’d you go?”
“Just back to his house,” she smiled. I knew there was more to the story.
    “And?” I prompted.
“And nothing!” she squealed. I rolled my eyes, not believing it for a moment. “Shut up,” she mumbled. I laughed. “It’s not like you can say anything!” she retorted. I rolled my eyes.
“We watched a movie,” I told her.
“You’re so lame,” she told me. I shrugged. I didn’t care if I was lame or not – last night was a lot of fun.
The two of us quieted when Lucas came down the stairs.
“Morning, sleepyhead,” I teased him. He smiled at me and sat down next to me.
    “Where’s Brayden?” Jamie asked.
“I don’t know,” Lucas dropped his arm around my shoulders. “Probably still sleeping.”
“He came home, didn’t he?” Jamie sounded worried.
“I heard him come up,” Lucas assured her. “Weren’t you with him?”
“I left,” she told him casually. Lucas raised his eyebrows at me, and I shrugged.
“Do I want to know?” he asked.
“Probably not,” I told him. He squeezed my shoulder and smiled.
“Shut up,” Jamie hit me with a pillow. I laughed.
    “So abusive!” I teased.
I heard someone coming down the stairs and looked over. It was Brayden. When we saw his face, we all fell silent in surprise. His entire left eye was swollen and bruised.
AN: I feel horrible. I cannot believe I took so long to update... I am so sorry :( But thank you if you are still reading this(: it means a lot to me! Feedback please? Thanks. Have a great day, everyone! ♥

    Chapter 16
I stood there, dumbfounded as I watched her walk away around the corner of the hallway.
Lucy had kissed me the other night, hadn’t she?
So that meant she liked me, right?
The girl mind was crazy and confusing.
I chased after the guy who had tripped Lucy, Jason.
“Man, what was that for?” I said, motioning to where Lucy had fell.
“Dude, she’s a prude.” He said as if it was so obvious.
“And that gives you the right to trip her to the ground?”
“Looks like you’re getting soft, man. Feelings are a killer.” Jason said, patting my shoulder and sauntering away after his friends.
But Lucy shouldn’t mean anything to me, right? She was just a girl.
    ~*~
A few weeks had gone by, and Lucy was driving me crazy.
She looked sad all of the time, she was avoiding my looks towards her, and the killer was that everyday I spent apart from her, the more beautiful she looked.
I didn’t want to admit it to myself, but I might have a teeny tiny crush on her.
Alright, a big crush, but I was so not used to this kind of stuff!
I never showed feelings towards girls; they always just came to me.
But I felt like Lucy was different, and that if I let her go she would never come back.
So Friday after school I searched for her at her locker, knowing she would be here because every week before this she stayed after to sort out her locker.
She was standing up and was brushing off her jeans form the dust she had cleaned out.
Her hair was in loose curls around her face, and her clothes hugged her body perfectly.
“Hey” I said softly as I came up next to her.
She closed her locker and gazed over to me. “Hi” she said meekly, looking down at the ground.
    “Look Lucy-“
“No, Liam. I-I don’t want to talk about it. You know I like you, but I don’t know if you like me. And I’m not going to risk it.” There was a stern look in her eyes, showing me she had found some kind of strength.
“How can you say I don’t like you? You’re all I’ve thought about since that night!” The anger began to grow inside of me, partially with her for not being able to realize if, and partially towards me for feeling that way.
She looked up at me, the innocence showing in her eyes.
Being the person that I was, I acted on instinct.
I closed the space between Lucy and I and leaned her carefully against the locker.
I looked deeply into her eyes, and watched them droop closed.
I bent down and softly kissed her lips ever so gently.
She didn’t immediately reciprocate, but after a moment she did.
I placed one hand on her hip and the other on the locker behind her while her hand cupped my bicep, showing me that she didn’t mind the affection.
Alright, so a very abrupt ending, but I wanted this to continue into the next chapter, so I ended it here!
How about THAT for a welcome back!!! I’ll most likely update again later tonight.
Please fave or comment, whatever you like! And show me that people are reading, please!

    Chapter 17
We stood alone in the hallway, my lips pressed against hers, and I felt…happy.
I felt happy kissing Lucy, not that I was just kissing another girl on the list.
I continued to kiss her deeper, but she didn’t allow me to open her lips all the way.
Her hands stroked the back of my neck, sending chills up my spine.
For a girl who’s never kissed anyone, she sure knew what to do.
I placed a small kiss at the base of her ear, pulling away and leaving us both breathing heavily.
“Do you need a ride home?” I asked her quietly, taking her hand in mine and drawing shapes with my thumb.
She just nodded her head, seeming like she had lost the will to speak.
I took her hand and guided her outside to where my Jeep was parked.
She told me her address and it was a short drive from here, so it didn’t take long.
“Thanks” she said, showing me a genuine smile.
I watched her as she walked up to her front door, unsure of what to do now.
We had kissed, but I wasn’t sure if that meant she wanted to go out with me, or just kiss.
She didn’t seem like the hooking up type of girl, but I would never underestimate her.
    ~*~
I woke up the next day with a massive headache.
    Surprisingly, I knew it wasn’t a hangover.
But no one was in my house so I decided to go downstairs and have some cereal.
I had a dream about Lucy last night, we were kissing intensely.
Even a dream could show how innocent and sweet she was.
When I went back upstairs, I grabbed my phone, laid across my bed, and opened a new text to Lucy.
“Hey, do you wanna go to the movies tonight?”
I texted her, hoping for a yes.
I waited a few minutes, beginning to worry that that meant rejection.
Wait. I was worrying about rejection? I never got rejected.
A few moments later, my phone buzzed with a new text.
    “Sure J”
    I texted back immediately:
“Cool. I’ll pick you up at seven.”
I looked at the clock, 11:42, I had the whole day to do nothing, and that’s exactly how I intended to spend it.
Still hoping for some more readers and more *FAVES*
