    Amy's POV
"Well, I'm off to dinner. I'll see you soon." Carson smiles and leans down to give me a kiss. "Bye Mitch!"
Carson walks out the door and I just turn around and smile to myself.
"Are you guys official yet?" Mitch asks me.
"No, he hasn't asked and I'm getting worried." I tell him honestly.
"Don't worry, Amy. He's probably just waiting for the right moment." Mitch smiles at me and then walks back down to the basement to play xbox, I'm guessing.
It's been a week since things happened between Carson and I.
He walked me to every single class, gave me kisses each time he could, and even text me while he was downstairs in my own house.
He just hasn't asked if I would be his girlfriend. I feel like it's kind of weird, but like Mitch said, he's probably waiting for the right moment.
Today he is out going out to dinner with his grandparents and his parents. Yes, his parents. His grandparents want to treat him with more respect now. After his parents found out he tried to committ suicide, they realized their horrible mistake, and are going to see him today. I know he might not forgive them right away, I just hope everything goes well.
I'm not going to see him for a couple days, so it's going to be boring, but oh well.
    *
    *
I'm getting worried more and more every minute. I've sent about five messages to Carson on kik and he has read all of them and not replied.
On kik you can see when the message is read and when they're typing. He has read them all and not replied.
Maybe he's just too busy eating...
Just then my iPod goes off, signaling a message from kik.
Carson sent me a message saying, "Meet me on your porch in five minutes."
Oh my gosh.. This is it. Carson is going to ask me to be his girlfriend. I quickly put on a little eyeliner and comb my hair.
I then step outside to see Carson staring down, he looked sad and worried.
    "Carson what's wrong?"
    "Ames.."
    "Yes?" I ask worried.
"There's no easy way to say this..." Carson starts out, looking me in the eyes.
"Well, what is it Carson?" I stared to feel sick.
"I don't think we should be together."
NOTE: Don't hate Carson. It's not what you think!! Does anyone have the game Monster Pet Shop or KIK? Let me know.

    words do hurt
    Chapter 17
    Maria's P.O.V.
Crud, why did "Carter" have to ask Christina on a date?
I asked her out, just to get her hopes up, and also to see how she was into him, but there was one problem that didn't seem to matter to me for a couple of minutes.
Where was I going to find the guy that "Carter" had for his profile pictures that I found on Google Images?
"How's your conversation with Christina? Did she confess her lame love for Carter?" Tiffany teased as she walked in, waiting for me to reply something back.
"Haha, yeah, she's such a loser." I said weakly, managing to get a fake chuckle out.
I don't know why I was doing this, Christina was still my friend.
But if I ditched Tiffany, she would ruin my reputation at school, and I don't want to be those outcasts.
"You don't sound very confident." Tiffany commented, raising an eyebrow at me.
    "W-what do y-you mean?" I stuttered.
I was never good at lying under pressure, I feel as if a million eyes on me.
"Cut the cr/p Maria, what did you say to Christina? Did you tell her that we're the Carter guy she has a crush on?" she spat.
    "No, of course not!"
"Then spill it." she warned, getting furious.
"Carter may have a date with Christina." I said softly, flinching, as if she was going to hit me.
But she didn't, instead, she just sat on her bed, as if she's seen a ghost.
"You idiot, how are we going to have a guy that's willingly going to go on a date with her!" she exclaimed.
    "I really don't know, I'm sorry." I muttered.
Tiffany may have given me popularity, but sometimes, she can overreact and be super annoying.
"Ugh, have you seen her? She's like an awkward potato!" Tiffany snarled, pacing around.
She then slammed her hand onto the oak table that her father had surprisingly carved out for her, and I'm quite shocked that her hand didn't start turning red. "I've worked so hard on this, I spent hours talking to her online as Carter! Do you know how boring she is to talk to?"
That wasn't completely the truth; I mostly talked to Christina as Carter every day.
Plus, I've actually enjoyed my time talking to her; it was like our old friendship, if I remember it correctly.
"What are you going to do?" I asked.
"What I always do. Fix the sh/t that you always cause so I can have my revenge."

    in his arms
    Chapter 51
My eyes found his. He was grinning. “Damn, it’s almost here.”
    “What?”
“The surgery. It’s so weird. I remember when I was first being diagnosed, and now they’re giving me surgery on it.”
    I nodded my head. “Yeah.”
    “It’s been a long road.”
    “I bet.”
I felt his fingers intertwine with mine. “Glad I got to take the trip with you.” I shook my hand loose from his, and he frowned at me. “What?”
    “Nothing.”
    “Don’t do that. Tell me.”
My face hardened to keep myself from crying. “Sorry I’m not super excited about the fact that you’re going in to have a life threating operation done.”
“Hey,” he hummed, pulling my face to his. “Hey, I’ll be alright.”
    “You can’t predict the future.”
He shook his head. “No, I can’t.”
“So you can’t say that you’re going to be okay.”
He bowed his head. “There’s no way I’m going to die. They’re got the best doctors working with me. Would you look on the bright side, Kail?”
    “What bright side?”
“I’m getting treatment. I’m going to be better. After all this, I’m going to be better.”
    “I hope so.”
He smiled, nudging me. “So, what else do you need to do for your list that we can do this weekend?”
I glanced down on it and breathed deeply before I said, “Horseback riding.”
    “What?”
I pointed to the bullet. “Take horseback riding lessons.”
    * * *
I slid down the hospital aisles that I knew too well and found the familiar door. I held the newspaper in my hand and tried to turn the doorknob, but found it locked for the second time that week.
There was a doctor passing in the hallways, so I pulled her aside. “Excuse me, but do you know if the little boy from this room switched rooms?”
She checked the room number. “Do you know his name?”
“Billy? He was twelve, he had red hair—“
“Oh, that little boy? The one who needed the lung transplant?”
My heart skipped a beat. Maybe he’d gotten it. “Yes, that’s him.”
Her face sort of sagged slightly. “I’m sorry, miss, but that little boy passed away earlier this week.”
    *I don't notify, please don't ask.*

    Chapter 4 part 1: Aislinn's P.O.V.
“Aislinn! Oh my gosh, are you okay? I’m so sorry! We had no idea you couldn’t swim! I tried to stop Brad, I should’ve--”
“Michelle, it’s okay. You didn’t know. It’s not your fault. I’m not mad; it just scared me, that’s all.” I tried to shrug it off but in all honesty I was still really shaken up about it.
“Okay, if you’re sure. I’m just so glad you’re okay!” She threw her arms around me, and I could tell we were going to be fast friends. At least I hoped we would. I could go with or without Brad, though. “Do you want to grab some lunch? I could show you some good places on the boardwalk.”
“Rain check?” I smiled hopefully and she looked kind of hurt. “It’s nothing you did! It has nothing to do with you!” I tried to reassure her. “It’s… I’ll tell you about it some other time.”
“Okay, see you soon!” She said as she let me go on my walk home. I turned toward the lifeguard chair and saw Ryan staring at me. Well, it looked like he was staring at me, but I couldn’t tell because of is sun glasses.
“Grams, I’m home!” I yelled as I walked through the door. I’d decided I wasn’t going to tell her what happened today. I didn’t want her to worry over nothing. “Want me to make grilled cheeses?”
“Sure, dear that sounds yummy- oh Aislinn, what’s happened to you? Why are you all cut up?” She fussed as she examined my head and arm. I had forgotten about those when I planned on not telling her.
I sighed. “I met some kids and they thought it would be fun to go for a swim. It wasn’t so fun for me.”
“Oh dear, are you alright? Why in the world would they do that?”
“Don’t worry Grams, I’m fine. Really. And they didn’t know, it’s not their fault. I was too embarrassed to tell them… I didn’t want to explain everything.”
“Oh, sweetie I’m sorry.” She said as she hugged me close to her. “How about I make the grilled cheeses?”
    ----------------------
Grams and I drove down to the boardwalk later that night, and I had her try an orange banana smoothie. She loved it. She said it was the perfect blend of orange, banana, and perfection. I could see us becoming frequent customers there.
We sat down at a table and enjoyed our refreshing drinks, and I was careful not to spill it on my dress. I liked loose, floral clothing, and I especially loved sundresses. Jeans were just too constricting and tight. “I think he likes you.” Grams whispered, playfully nudging me. I looked over confusedly to where she was gesturing and saw Ryan sitting with some guys, looking at me. “He’s cute.” She decided.
“That’s the lifeguard that saved me. His name’s Ryan. He probably recognizes me and is trying to remember how.”
“Mhm, sure.” She winked at me and sipped her smoothie. I stuck my tongue out at her and she laughed. “Ready to go?”
“Um, I think I’m going to hang out here for a bit. I’ll walk back in a little while. Is that okay?”
She looked over toward Ryan, then back at me, wiggling her eyebrows. “Oh yes dear, that’s fine. Have fun.” She kissed my head and started walking toward the car. I rolled my eyes at her. She was ridiculous. I wasn’t staying for Ryan; I was staying purely because I loved being outdoors and enjoying the fresh air.
I zoned out, and a few minutes later, someone cleared their throat.

    love at first sight?
    chapter 5
I still haven't gotten my phone back. It's been three days.
"Don't you have your pre-law class today?" Amy asked me Tuesday morning.
"Shoot! I forgot about that! I had it scheduled in my phone and everything." I said.
"But you don't have your phone." she pointed out. Which is why I forgot about class.
I ran over to my closet and picked out a white cami and a turquoise skirt. I tucked the tank into the skirt, then put on my matching heels and some accessories. We were doing a mock trial in class, so I needed to look nice. Then I grabbed my books then left for class.
"This case is missing something. There was no sufficient evidence constituting probable cause for an arrest warrant when my client was taken into custody. Which means, he is set free until a further investigation actually finds something." I said, ending the case.
The class applauded me, and the professor went over to open the door.
"Okay class, that's a wrap for today. Good work!" the professor said.
I walked back to my seat to grab my bag and books before leaving. I walked out of the classroom and saw him leaning against the door frame.
"Zayn? What are you doing here?" I asked, wondering how he found me.
"I've been trying to figure out how to get this back to you for a few days now." he said, handing me my cell phone. I thanked him, then we walked out of the building together.
"Your alarm went off on your phone, saying you had a pre-law class." he explained.
"Oh, gotcha." I said, not really sure what else I should say to him.
"Uh, thank you." I said, because it would have been rude of me not to thank him.
"You're welcome. Thank you for giving me another chance to see you." he said.
"Are you in a rush? Cause I'm going for pizza if you wanna come." I said.
"That sounds delicious. I'd love to join." he said, shooting me a smile.
We talked about ourselves over pizza. Zayn seemed really cool.
"I'm going back to London tomorrow." he said, and I felt my heart sink.
"I knew it wouldn't last." I said, smiling sadly.
"But I'm glad I actually got to meet you." he said, reaching over to grab my hand.
"Me too." I said, giving his hand a small squeeze before finishing my food.
Zayn drove me back to my dorm room after we had lunch, and I invited him in.
We just sat and talked for hours. About anything. It was amazing.
"I should probably get going." he said, getting out of the spinny chair.
"You're really cool to hang out with." I said, trying to keep calm.
"So are you. Keep in touch, okay?" he asked, before winking at me and walking out.
I figured he meant that he wanted me to tweet him or DM him, so I did.
But then I scrolled through my contacts later, and saw a new name.
Zayn added himself in my phone.

    Discovering Destiny
    Chapter 3: Aislinn's P.O.V.
I looked up from my book and the sun blinded me. I put my book down and ran my fingers through the hot sand. My first time at the beach in Florida; it was beautiful. I was far away from the water, a good ways up the sand near behind the lifeguard chairs. I closed my eyes and put my head down, soaking in the wonderful warmth. I heard laughing and shouting and felt sand splatter onto my back in a shower. I craned my neck to see that my back, towel, and book were covered with sand.
“Brad! You jerk! You could at least say sorry!” A feminine voice yelled. I looked up to see a tall brunette smiling down at me. “Here, let me help you.” She extended her hand down to me and I took it as I stood up. “I’m Michelle, by the way.” She said as she brushed the sand from my back.
“Aislinn.” I half smiled as I leant down to brush the sand off my book.
“That’s a pretty name. Sorry about Brad by the way, he’s not always like that.” She shook my towel out and laid it back down.
“It’s no problem. It’s the beach, it always happens.” I smiled. Brad and a few other people jogged back over to us and I felt very out of place in their group, being the new girl no one knew. Brad shook his hair out, scattering water droplets all over my arm. I brushed them off nonchalantly.
“Oh, hey there. You must be new here, I’d remember you. I’m Brad.” He held out his hand superciliously for me to shake and I shook it as I tried not to roll my eyes.
“I’m Aislinn. And yeah, I just moved here from California for college.”
“Very cool.” Brad said, flashing me a cocky smile. “You’re welcome to hang out with us if you want; we were just about to go in the water.”
“Oh, no thanks, I’m fine here.”
“Oh come on, we don’t bite.” Michelle smiled at me.
“I just…don’t want to get my hair wet.” I lied. I sucked at lying.
“Too bad, you’re coming!” Brad said as he picked me up and started walking toward the water with everyone else.
“P-please put me down.” I said nervously.
“Chill Aislinn! Your hair will be fine!” He laughed as he walked out on the dock, further out into the water where I had just been last night.
“Brad, put me down now!” I said angrily, squirming in his arms. “You can’t do this! I don’t want to go in!”
“Brad, put her down.” Michelle tried to help.
    “Let me go!” I yelled.
“Okay, I’ll let you go.” He smirked as he threw me into the water.
It happened so quickly I didn’t register what had happened until I was fully submerged in the salty current. The water filled my lungs and I choked, thrashing my legs to try and get to the surface. A wave must’ve come, because I was thrown around on the ocean floor as the edges of my vision blurred from my lack of air. My lungs were on fire and I struggled to swim upwards, but it was no use. My eyes started to close and I internally accepted the thought that I was destined to die in the ocean, just like my parents had.
    ------------------
I gasped as I felt a pair of lips on mine blowing air into my lungs. My breathing was erratic as I struggled to catch my breath throughout my coughing fit. I coughed up salt water and felt a hand hitting my back, helping me get it out of my lungs.
“It’s okay, you’re fine. I’m just going to take you to take care of your arm. Can you stand?” A soothing voice said to me after I was done coughing, I assumed it was the lifeguard who saved me. There were still stars in my vision and when I looked up to try and pin a face to the voice, the sun was right next to his head, blinding my sight of him.
When I tried to stand my legs felt wobbly and I stumbled, but the lifeguard caught me right before I fell. He picked me up and started carrying me. I felt really weak in his strong arms, and I was glad for the support. I rested my head against the mystery man and let my eyes close.
He set me down in a chair a few seconds later and I tried to focus my eyes. My head felt a lot better and my vision wasn’t fuzzy so I was reassured that I wasn’t going to die. “How do you feel?” The guy asked from behind me, rummaging through a cabinet to get some gauze for my arm, which I just now noticed had a decent-sized gash in it.
“Alright.” I said, my voice croaky. I cleared my throat and waited for him to come over to me.
He took my chin between his thumb and forefinger, gently tilting my head up to analyze something on my face. His eyes met mine and I had a strange feeling in my stomach. “Hey, you’re that guy. The motorcycle guy from last night.”
“And you’re that girl.” He smirked slightly. “You have a small cut on your forehead.” He sat down next to me and gently ran his finger over it. He started to do some first aid, and I felt him spread a gel over the cut.
“You almost hit me, you know.” I said, not letting it go.
“Well, I just saved your life. So I think I made up for it.” He moved onto my arm and I stared at him intently. “Your friends don’t seem very nice. Did they know you can’t swim?”
“I just met them. I moved here yesterday.” I averted eye contact.
“Well, I’d suggest finding some new friends then…” He trailed off.
    “Aislinn.” I finished for him.
    “Aislinn,” he repeated, “I’m Ryan.”

    Amy's POV
"Uhm, sure.. what is it?" I ask Carson.
I'm a little scared and shocked.
"I wish that you would stop thinking all this bullcrap." He tells me.
Well that's not what I was expecting...
"What do you mean, Carson? What I said was true!" I defend myself.
"Amy, no! You don't love me! You never did until I was possibly dead. You just think you love me, okay? If you really loved me before, why wouldn't you tell me before?" Carson asks, his eyes getting watery.
"I think I loved you this whole time, I just didn't want to admit to myself." I frown.
Carson shakes his head. "Notice how you said 'think,' see Amy you don't. Now stop telling people you love me, just stop." Carson stands up.
"But I do!" I tell him standing up.
"Prove it to me then!" He yells. "Because I'm never going to believe you."
I can't believe I'm going to do this. I can't believe our first kiss is when I kiss him first.
But, I have to do it.
I take a step foward so I'm closer to him, and I can feel Carson tense up.
He's probably always wanted to be this close to me.
I put my arms around his neck and lean up closer, as he leans down.
His lips crash down onto mine and I guess you could say I've never felt this before.
I always thought that when people say you get a spark with this person you love was a myth.
But I felt something with Carson and I didn't ever want to stop.
I love Carson and I always have.
We both end the amazing kiss and I blush at Carson as he looks down and smiles.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for that." Carson tells me.
My face gets even more red and Carson starts laughing.
I've never been so shy around Carson so I decide to be my confident self and say something back.
"Well you can keep doing it, if you want." I bite my lip.
And that's how the night ended. We kissed, and kissed, and kissed, then watched TV, oh and..
    We kissed.
NOTE: Very short but I'm sick and don't feel like writing today. But I had to for you guys :) Does anyone have the game Monster Pet Shop or KIK? Let me know.

    Carson's POV
I'm finally out of hospital, thank god.
I'm going over to Mitch and Amy's because they are throwing me a party.
It feels weird every one knows about me trying to committ suicide already.
I made my way over to Mitch's house and slowly opened the door without knocking.
This place is basically my own home.
"WE LOVE YOU, CARSON!" A bunch of people scream when I walk in.
I smile at every one here. Mitch, Amy, their parents, Kenny, Cole, Sammi, and a couple other people from school.
I was quite surprised that Cole and Amy weren't next to each other.
I'll admit I'm still sad about everything, but as long as she's happy, I'm happy.
She means the world to me.
"Hey, man." Mitch comes over to me and smiles.
"Hey, dude what's up with Amy and Cole?" I ask.
Mitch laughs. "They aren't dating, obviously."
"Oh, god. Please tell me she doesn't really think she loves me."
Mitch shrugs his shoulders and smirks, then walks off.
I grab some punch and make small talk with Mitch and Amy's parents.
Their mom hugs me like crazy which makes me feel a whole lot better.
I sit down and soon enough, Sammi sits down next to me.
    "Carson, hi." She smiles big.
    "How are you, Sammi?"
"Good, but I wish you would've accepted my invitation." She winks.
"I just don't think it'd seem right while I'm deeply in love with someone else."
Sammi sighs. "Why do you even love her? She's younger than you, and I'm like, the hottest girl in school? How can you not want me?" She asks.
"Maybe because your looks aren't as good as your personality. No one could ever compare to Amy, I'm madly in love with her, and I will always will be. Honestly, I think you shoud leave."
Every one got silent in the room and was currently staring at Sammi and I.
Sammi looks around and then just runs out.
Amy walks over to me and sits down.
"No one could ever compare to you either, Carson."

    Accidental Reunion
    Chapter 16
    Brooke's POV
Niall and I had been going strong for the days we spent together. We tried to spend as much time as possible together, just keeping the little fact that we we’re going to have to part ways eventually in the back of our brains.
“Try it.” Niall said to me, shoving a pastry at my face.
We were at his loft with the rest of the guys, which was very close to my hotel that I was staying at. Chris had brought Maria to the hotel room a day or two ago, so to avoid the awkward situation of being like a third wheel, I asked Niall if I could stay at their place.
Leaning away from the food that was inches from being shoved against my fashion glasses, I took the soft bread in between my fingers and took a bite. My eyes widened as I looked back at Niall, a big smirk on his face.
“Like it?” I instantly nodded, taking another bite of the goodness.
“Where did you get this?” I asked, my hand covering my mouth as I continued chewing as I talked.
    “Harry made it.”
Niall turned and pointed behind him, where Harry sat sitting at the TV.
“Huh? I heard my name.” Harry turned his head, his brown eyes locking with mine. I smiled, making sure my teeth didn’t show any residence of scraps of the pastry.
“You are an amazing baker.” I notified him, watching a smile tug at the ends of his lips.
    “Thanks.”
Just as I was about to talk to him some more, my phone vibrated in my pocket.
“Hello?” I inquired, placing the phone next to my ear.
“Brooke, we have a problem.” I heard Chris’ panicked voice ask, my nerves suddenly tensing.
    “What’s wrong Chris?”
“Did you remember the day we were supposed to go home?” He asked with the sight tone of alarm still coming through.
    “Brooke, that day is today.”
Time stopped. Everything froze in my mind, my heart beat racing and my hand started to sweat as breathing suddenly became hard to do.
“What?” I asked, my voice barely auditable.
“Brooke, our flight back is at 9.”
No, this couldn’t happen. I pressed the end button and set the phone down on the table, trying to calm my racing mind and nerves. My eyes flickered over to Niall, watching him pick at the small amount of food on his plate. His blonde hair with his brown roots showing though was messed up, but still looked amazing. His green eyes stared down at his plate, his facial expression showing that he was very bored. The emerald orbs of his looked up to meet mine, a smile coming across his face. As he noticed the shocked look on my face, he immediately turned concerned.
“What’s wrong?” He whispered, his hand reaching and covering my free one, my hands warming from the heat of his.
I shook my head, biting my lip and looking down at my lap. He leaned over placed his hand across my cheek, pressing his lips to my nose, leaving soft kisses until his soft lips touched mine, pulling me slightly closer to him.
“You know you can tell me anything at anytime.” He whispered into my ear as he pulled away and hugged me. I nodded, shutting my eyes tight and wishing away the truth. If only what Chris had said wasn’t true. If only.
Hey guys! Sorry about taking so long to post. We’re starting to rush to the end of this story, since it was originally a Christmas story, so we’re trying to speed things up a bit and have this done in a few chapters.

    love at first sight?
    chapter 3
"Okay, that's it for class today. Have a good rest of the day." my professor said.
I grabbed my bag and walked out of the building and started making my way back to my dorm. Before I crossed the courtyard, my friend Bryan stopped me.
"Hey Bec. Happy Valentine's Day." he said, handing me a rose.
"Thanks Bry. You're so sweet! What are you doing tonight? Amy and I want to go out. You and Kevin should come with us!" I said, and he nodded.
"Sounds like fun. Where do you wanna go?" he asked.
"There's this benefit concert a few blokcs down. We could go there." I said.
He said that was good, and then I continued walking back to my dorm.
"Amy, we have valentines!" I said, running into my room and hugging her.
"Haha, who?" she asked, probably thinking I was crazy.
"That really nice man that's always right outside of campus." I replied.
"The one always asking for money? You're joking." she said back to me.
"Yeah, I am. Bryan and Kevin are going with us to that benefit concert." I told her.
"Sounds cool. Let's get dressed." she said, and I walked over to my small closet.
I pulled out a red shirt and a black skirt with flowers on it. I tucked the shirt into the skirt and paired the outfit with some red ballet flats and cute nails. Amy wore a pink dress.
"Okay, let's go!" I said, and walked out of our room, Amy behind me.
We met Bryan and Kevin at the club where the concert was being held.
"You two look gorgeous." they said as we walked in and sat down with them.
"Thanks dude. You pumped for this show?" I asked, because I kknew I was.
"Heck yeah! It's got Bon Jovi, Fun, and Maroon 5." Kevin said.
"And some special guest the flyer said. But they're not announcing who the guest is until they actually get on stage. It's some big secret." Bryan added, joining the conversation.
Fun opened the show, and they were amazing. Since the club was kind of small and low key, we had a great view of the stage. There weren't that many people there either.
Aerosmith rocked the stage next, and I was in awe. 64 years and still killing those notes.
Bon Jovi closed the show, or so I thought they did. Then I remembered ther was a special guest, and I started wondering who it would be.
When they came on stage, I swear I stopped breathing for a few seconds.
"Amy, is this a dream?" I asked, pinching myself. She just laughed and screamed.
"How are you all doing tonight?" one of boys onstage asked, they heavy accent flooding my ears. I looked to his right, and couldn't believe what I saw.
One Direction was on the stage. Zayn Malik and I were in the same room.
After the concert, the members of all the band came out into the club and started talking with the people here. I talked to Adam Levine for a few minutes, then had a quick conversation with Jon Bon Jovi. The one person I wanted to talk to though looked busy.
I walked over to him anyway and said hello when he was in between talking to people.
"Hi love. Did you enjoy the show?" he asked, his eyes sparkling.
"Yeah, you were amazing." I replied, biting my cheek to keep from smiling too wide.
"What can I do for you? An autograph, a picture?" he asked.
"Yeah, let's take a picture together." I said, and he smiled, taking my phone and opening the camera app, then leaning into my and snapping the photo. I thanked him, then walked away.
He didn't recognize me. So much for that.

    Chapter 39
    18. Get married.
    The beach was breathtakingly sublime.
The beach here wasn’t like the beach on the lake. The beach on the lake was murky and muddy. The water was tainted and sticky.
The beach here wasn’t like the beach on the Cape. The beach on the Cape was filled with golden sand and the water outstretched to a deep blue, and it appeared menacing.
The beach here was completely new. The sands were white and pure, untouched by man. The waves in the sand were created by the lapping of the crystal blue water. The water itself was enough to make you lose your breath. It was peaceful, serene. It was perfect.
“My gosh,” Morgan breathed. “Anthony, I mean, wow. Your uncle didn’t have to do this.”
He shrugged. “I mean, he offered.”
The houses weren’t exactly houses, rather small cottages. They were both only one bedroomed, with one bed. I felt my heart skip a beat as I scanned the bed. This would be the first time Anthony and I laid in the same bed together.
The beaches we had were private, even from each other. Large shrubbery separated each beach for confidentiality; however, there was a dock that extended over the water that connected our houses.
Anthony and I migrated out to the dock. Our feet dangled over the water, and I kicked it gently with my toes. I was still overwhelmed by the beauty.
“We have sixteen days here,” he told me, his eyes scanning the horizon. “We go back when you need to start another dose of chemo.”
I sat back, letting my unexposed body bathe in the foreign sunlight. It felt so warm against my skin.
Anthony glanced over at me, smirking. “What are you doing?”
“Sunbathing,” I hummed, laying back on the snug wooden dock. I casted a shadow over my eyes with my hand to look up at him. “Try it.”
He snorted and laid back. He closed his eyes as he got comfortable. “Okay, now what?” he hummed.
    “We just lay here.”
He rolled his head to look at me. “That’s boring.”
“Just tan, Jesus Christ. It’s relaxing.”
“We have sixteen days to relax,” he sighed. “This is our first day as a married couple. Can’t we do something a little more romantic?”
I rolled myself over so I was laying on top of him. I rested my chin on his chest. “So, what did you want to do?” I teased.
“Get a room!” I heard Morgan call from the porch of their cottage. She and Aidan burst into laughter as I rolled off Anthony, slightly embarrassed. He sat up with me.
He cupped my cheek in his hand and, smiling, brought our faces together. I heard Morgan calling from her porch, but we ignored her. It was like our lips couldn’t be separated, like they were bound together by something unspoken. Not that I wanted to pull away.
If I could’ve kissed Anthony Thompson for the sixteen days we were in the Bahamas, I wouldn’t have had a single complaint.
    Feedback please, my lovelies.

    love at first sight?
    chapter 2
I stared at the screen for nearly ten minutes before Amy snapped her fingers at me.
"He just asked you to be his valentine! Are you gonna reply?" she asked.
"This isn't happening Amy. Things like this don't happen to me. It's fake." I told her.
"It's definitely not fake. Maybe your luck is finally changing." she responded.
For some reason, I still didn't believe that I could be this lucky. But I did need to reply.
So I wrote: 'How can we be valentines if we're in different countries?'
I waited a few minutes before his reply showed up on my screen.
'You can be my virtual valentine:)' he wrote.
I didn't reply, because I simply didn't know what to say.
It was Zayn Malik, my celebrity crush. But then again, I didn't know him.
I knew his favorite color, his favorite song, and a few other things.
But nothing major. What i wanted to know was why he was talking to me.
"Fine, don't reply. But you'll regret it." Amy said, walking over to her bed.
my fingers hovered over the keyboard, wanting to type.
But I couldn't do it. Maybe I should play hard to get..
I don't know anything about playing hard to get. When Jake and I went out, things just came easily. He obviously liked me, so I figured I'd give him a chance.
But I don't know how to talk to a celebrity. Like I said, this doesn't happen to me.
I closed my laptop and went over to my bed, trying to get some sleep.
I could barely fall asleep, but eventually I did.
When I woke up the next morning, I checked my twitter account.
I do need to reply, and I'm actually going to say something this time.
Before I could type the message to him, I saw I had a mention.
    @ZaynMalik1D: Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Especially @BeccaJ_!
I stared at the screen, making sure that my eyes were not deceiving me.
It was one thing for him to direct message me, but another to tweet about me for millions of people to see and read. I clicked reply and typed a message.
@BeccaJ_: @ZaynMalik1D same to you! xx
After I favotired and retweeted his tweet, I logged out and got ready for my day.
I don't have any classes today because my six classes fall on Monday and Tuesday. I'm a sophomore at the University of Miami, which is pretty cool.
But not as cool as having your favorite celebrity talk to you via twitter.
please tell me if you like it! it wil start to get exciting and longer within the next few chapters!50+ faves for next chapter(:

For around half a minute, I waited outside nervously. I kept asking myself why he wasn't answering the door straight away like he usually does and then, he opened the door.
There was no smile on his face, no smirk or no frown, his expression was as hard as a brick. We stood there, opposite each other for a few moments just staring, his eyes boring into mine and then he spoke. “Come in.” I walked inside his apartment and took a seat on the couch. He surprised me by coming and sitting next to me. I didn't think he'd do that, I opened my mouth to say something – anything but nothing came out. Zach laughed unhumourously, “This is so screwed up. I honestly have no idea what to think anymore."
“Z-Zach,” I murmured and was surprise when he didn't correct me for not using 'Mr Parker'. “I owe you an apology. I am so sorry, I didn't mean for any of this to happ-”
“Then what did you mean to happen, Logan? Just enlighten me.”
“I just... I just wanted my mum to not need to worry about money. This was 5 grand that I could at least try to get, I didn't think I'd win and I never thought Courtney was going to get hold of that picture.”
    “Well guess what she did.”
“And I'm so sorry but you won't need to worry about that now.”
“What if she had got the photo that you could see both of us clearly? What would happen then.”
“I don't want to think of that, she didn't and its over.”
“That might be over but we aren't. We still have lots of things to talk about.” When he said, that might be over but we aren't, my heart fluttered and my cheeks burnt but I knew he didn't mean it in the way I wanted it to.
“I'll answer any questions you want,” I told him.
    Simply, he asked, “Why?”
“I've told you how my dad left my mum and I a couple of years ago and I've always told you that a couple of months ago we moved in with my Aunt Cassidy because the council took the house away from us. Since then, I've been trying to help my mum get any extra money. I've sent my mum money anonymously with money my dad sent me and money from my car. To you, five grand might be nothing but to me, thats a lot of money.” I reached into my bag, picking out a bundle of money.
    Five thousand dollars.
    “Whats that?” he asked.
“Thats the money Courtney gave to me, I don't want it. You can have it,” I replied, putting the money on the table. “That money is nothing but filth to me now. It may have taken me a while to realise how horrible I was using you like that. I can't give that money to my mum.”
Zach sighed, “I don't want that money. Give it to your mother.”
    “No,” I said, firmly.
“Give it back to Courtney then,” he said. “I don't care what you do with the money, I don't want it though.” I didn't say anything but I didn't take the money. Zach leant in slightly and I hoped that he kissed me. I leant up and put my lips on his, my eyes fluttered open for a split second to see his wide open.
    He wouldn't kiss me back.

    love at first sight?
    chapter 1
"Come on, you've got nothing to lose."
Those were the seven words that convinced me to so something that would change my life.
Something that I thought nobody would notice. So I listened to my best friend.
It's February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day.
And like every other year, I was spending this so called 'holiday' single.
So my best friend Amy told me to tweet my favorite member of One Direction.
I grabbed a piece of paper from the printer nearby and cut it into the shape of a heart.
I wrote the words 'be mine' on the heart shaped paper and held it up to the webcam.
I took a picture and tweeted it was a message saying 'need a valentine?'
I got a few favorites and retweets, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Amy and I spent the rest of the night watching Nicholas Sparks movies.
And complaining about how we will probably be forever alone.
After finishing off the tub of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, we went back upstairs.
"Why can't a guy like Noah love me?" Amy asked, fake crying.
"Hey, you had someone who loved you, you just dumped them." I said.
"I know." she said, then threw herself onto my bed and went through her messaged.
I went into my bathroom to brush my teeth, when I heard Amy scream.
"What? What's wrong?" I asked, panicking as I ran back into the room to see what was wrong.
"He retweeted you!" she said, squealing. No way. She's fibbing.
"You're lying. Let me see that." I said, reaching for her phone. Sure enough, he did.
ZaynMalik1D retweeted me. He even added an 'xx' after my message.
"Oh my god, this is crazy!" I said, running over to my computer to log onto my twitter.
When I did, I saw that I had a direct message. Fingers shaking, I clicked on the blue number.
From ZaynMalik1D: How is it possible that a cutie like you doesn't have a valentine?
"Amy, you're not going to believe what he messaged me." I said, and she came over.
We both squealed and I took a picture for proof. Then I messaged him back.
Since it's his real account, he has his direct messages disabled, but I just clicked reply and it let me send a message to him. So I said 'how is it possible that you replied to me?'
I still can't believe this is happening. A few seconds later, he replied.
'I can't just ignore a pretty girl who tweeted me. Will you be my valentine?'
let me know if you like it!

On Tuesday, I had a huge headache so I stayed at home. The headache was probably due to how much I had been pathetically crying. I shouldn't feel like this because it was my fault he hated me, he didn't just hate me for a random reason.
    I caused this.
In some twisted way, I didn't regret ever participating in the game because if I hadn't, I would have never got to know Zach as more than a teacher.
I didn't do anything all day, I just went on my computer. Towards the end of the day, I logged onto Facebook and the first thing that came up on my news feed was a status from Courtney.
'Age is just a number? Yeah and jail is just a place'
Almost automatically she popped up to me and said, 'Hey'
'Hi :)' I replied. I didn't feel like talking to anyone right now.
'Did u break up with Mr P??'
    'Yea' I typed in reply.
'K, now hes mine' With that, Courtney went offline and I just stared at the conversation.

On Wednesday, Jasmine skipped over to me, a grin playing on her flawless face. “Logan!” she exclaimed.
    “Hey.”
    “Where have you been?!”
“I was sick,” I shrugged. “I'm all better now.”
“I texted you but you didn't reply!”
“I lost my charger so I haven't been able to go on my phone,” I lied, smoothly.
“Oh... right. Well I just wanted to know if you were alright. You and Mr Parker broke up, right?”
“Y-yeah... look, Jasmine, can we keep quiet about all this. I would rather if it was all forgotten.”
“That might not be so easy,” She muttered.
“What do you mean?” I cried.
“Well, there's a rumour going around about you and Mr Parker... well it wasn't even just a rumour. A picture was sent to the whole school of you and Mr Parker kissing.” My jaw dropped open.
    “W-what?” I stuttered.
“Yeah, Courtney sent a bunch of messages around and uh-yeah, I'm really sorry for what she did. She shouldn't have done something, I guess she just hates losing.”
“You don't need to apologise for her,” I smiled, weakly. “I'm going to see Grace, see you around.” I walked inside the school and people stared at me, some snickering nasty names.
“Can Mr Parker and Logan Hant please come to my office?” Mr Creed said on the loud speaker.

    Chapter 34
At first, I didn’t feel anything. I guess I was just trying to let everything sit in. I couldn’t believe it. This was my everything. He was my everything. My life. My meaning for existence.
    And he was dying.
I gasped and brought my hands up to my mouth. An impulsive hollowness entered my chest, and it felt like something was torn out of me. “No,” was all I managed to stutter before overwhelming sobs and shaking took over my body.
He bobbed his head as he slid on the bed next to me.
“Anthony, please be lying,” I begged. “Please. Please!”
“Please, Kail, please don’t cry,” he asked frantically and wide-eyed. “Please, Kaitlyn, please.”
    “When is the surgery?”
    He shrugged. “A month, about.”
    “So it could kill you?”
“If the cancer doesn’t kill me first.”
I couldn’t say anything else; my breathing shuddered with the tears I couldn’t hold back. My throat was jagged, and I felt like I could’ve gotten sick.
“Stop, stop,” he murmured, pressing his cold fingers to my cheek. “This is why I didn’t tell you. Kaitlyn, for me, seeing you crying or upset is the worst thing in the world. Watching you go through chemo, that killed me. I never want to see you like this. I want to do anything to change that.”
Nothing he could’ve said, nothing anyone could’ve said would’ve been enough to make me stop crying. So I didn’t. I didn’t even respond to him.
“How’s your day?” he finally asked desperately. I turned my face up to his.
    “What?”
    “How’s your day going?”
I narrowed my eyes at him. “What are you doing?”
“Trying to get your mind off of it.”
I tore my eyes from his and instead placed them on my shaking fingers. “Awesome, can’t you tell?”
“What’s that dress for?” he murmured.
I glanced up again at the purple dress that was laid out on my bed. “Oh, Morgan and Aidan’s wedding. You were invited, by the way; I just completely forgot to tell you.”
He forced a meager smile. “No, Morgan already invited me. The weekend we went to New York, she told me that was the city she was going to get married in, and then invited me.”
    I sighed heavily. “Oh.”
“I have a tie that matches that dress,” he told me.
My fingers traced the lace. “Yeah?”
“Yeah,” he hummed, sliding his body closer to mine. “We’ll look cute, all color coordinated.”
“I never look cute anymore,” I muttered.
He tilted my face to his so our eyes were locked. “Maybe not cute,” he murmured, our facings leaning closer together, “but Kaitlyn, I think you are absolutely beautiful.”
And he wrapped his arms around my frail body, cradling me. And I became breathless, weightless. I hadn’t any problems. I was lost again.
It was amazing, how I felt in his arms.
So I have a snowday tomorrow, and I will probably lose internet. Sorry if I don't upload for a while ~
There was a girl in my school who made up a rumor about herself being pregnant. She made up a rumor about herself. I can't be the only one who sees a problem with this.
Oh one last thing, if you're one of those b.tches who is "done reading this story" because "it's just a bad copy" of a book I've never read, then keep your f.cking comments to yourself and have a horrible day. K thanks.

    Ten Reasons Why
    Chapter Eight
"Are you done yet?" Noah grumbled from outside the door for what felt like the hundreth time that hour.
And yes, my fixation took about an hour.
Who knows, I lost track of time after the first five minutes.
"No, now shut it," Delilah snapped, looking irratated that she was hearing
the same question as a few minutes ago.
She had just put on yet another outfit on me that she had put together with the clothes
    from her closet.
Most of her clothing had fit me, seeing as she was pretty tall for her age.
She looked over my whole body once, and I was enormously relieved to
find her smiling in approvement at what she had put on me. "This looks really good.
Of course though, we're gonna have to go shopping to fill up your closet with
some cute stuff. You can't just wear something cute one day."
I shrugged, honestly not caring how I looked at school, as always.
But yet, after the young girl had spun me around and towards the
mirror to look at myself for the first time, I gasped at what I found.
I couldn't lie, the girl was good.
What I wore was honestly rather simple, yet still stunning.
Especially compared to the sweatpants and baggy t-shirts I usually wore.
I now wore a flowy white tank top, which showed off my surprisingly
nice curves since it was tucked into some ripped light skinny jeans, which also showed off some fit legs I never took notice of before.
To complete the look, i wore a golden charm necklace that hung low,
    and some gladiator sandals.
On top of that, Delilah had applied some makeup on my face, simple things
like mascara, lip gloss, blush, etc. Though in conclusion, it gave off
the natural makeup look. My dark brown hair cascaded in waves over my shoulders
and down my back. It almost went down to my waist,
surprising me since I usually wore it in a ponytail, so I hadn't known it was this long.
All in all though, I felt so pretty right then-- something i hadn't felt in a bit. After everything in my life went downhill, I stopped trying.
    "Okay, now I'm done!"
"Finally," Noah grumbled from outside, his voice muffled. He opened the door, sauntering in.
    And then he froze.
