everyone says love hurts, but that isnt true.
loneliness hurts.
rejection hurts.
loosing someone hurts.
everyone confuses these thing with love,
but in reality love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain
& makes us feel wonderful again

it's sad when
People you know become people you knew.
When you walk right past each other like strangers and never even make eye contact with each other or stop to share a simple hello.
When you look at them and don’t even care to know how they’re doing, or you don’t even look at them at all.
When you don’t even acknowledge each other’s presence anymore.
When you walk away from them like they were never a big part of your life..
While subconsciously knowing that you used to talk to them for hours at a time or hang out ‘til the sun comes up.
When people that you used to call your best friends become mere specks in your life.
When you used to share drunken “I love yous” and clingy bear hugs, but now do not dare utter a word to each other.
When they used to be the first people you ran to when you had a problem but now you can’t because the problem is with them.
When they used to be the only people on your mind, but now they don’t even cross it at all.
you view people who used to be such a significant part of your life as nothing but strangers.
When you don’t even classify them as friends anymore, or acknowledge that the friendship ever existed to that extent.
When people that you used to share all your time with are not even worth your time anymore.
It’s a shame when these things used to tear you apart, but now you feel nothing at all.
But the worst part is, I’m guilty of all of this.
Perhaps it’s because they were only a milestone in this thing I call my life & I’ll never grow if I don’t let go

the way you make me feel is like
Smelling fress cut grass, or being in the back of a convertible under the stars. Or returning home from a long trip, or just driving with no destination in the summer. It's like the feeling you get when you get an 'A' on your report card and your parents tell you how proud they are. Or when you hear your family laugh together, or the whoosing of a tunnel when you drive with the windows down. It's like when you're outside on a hot day and you have a cold glass of water, or when you talk to an old friend after a month or two, and the two of you are still as close as ever.
It's like the feeling you get when you hear your favorite childhood song on the radio for the first time in years, and you turn it up and feel so alive. Or lying in bed watching a snow storm, knowing you don't have to get up for hours and could just lay in the warmth of your comforters for hours. It's the way your stomach flip-flops durning your first true kiss, or how your body feels when you take off in an airplane for the first time. Or when you drive around in the front seat of the car that belongs to the boy you like, and even though you should feel scared beyond control because he's driving so fast and stupid, yet you feel so safe and alive. Yeah, that feeling.
