Beyond Blue Skies
Despondent,
I look up at the sky.
Beyond it,

My final words

I've learned a lot of lessons
In the short time I have lived
I've learned how to appreciate
And I've learned how to give.
But in these past few weeks
There's two I'll remember most
I've learned how to love
And I've learned to let go.
You entered my life with such a force

Your warm brown eyes

as I think
& hope constantly
that this isn't the love to burn out.
Instead the kind of love
that has staying power
& potential to last forever At times,
I can't help but dream of you
I know it's quite silly,
but fate has chosen seperation

Life is never what you’d expect

Attention is short and days run long

everyday I lose myself just a little more
but I'm losing myself in you, so I don't mind
it's so easy to get lost in your eyes
to let myself float away just listening to your voice.
I feel so calm and at peace when you're with me
I love the feeling I get whenever you hug me
I wish I could stay in your arms forever
so that feeling wouldn't ever go away
I smile when I think of you and when I talk to you
my heart beats a little faster.
I love these feelings, Being near you is so amazing
