Maybe you should post a picture of like, A teddy bear. Lol. And sing then put it on youtube so no one knows who you are? and if they enjoy it, it may boost your confidence a bit more? But I'm sure your great! Theres this thing called Vocaroo.com I think you might be able to post things on there too? but the difference on there is that It's only a voice recording! So thats perfect. :)
But honestly.. you shouldn't be scared at all. If it's what you love to do.. so be it. Do it. If it's what makes you happy.. then go for it.
