Chapter 1
"Good morning beautiful" mike said softly over the phone. I knew it was him because who else would call me at 6 in the morning. I guess its a good thing he called because i needed to get ready for the first day of school. I didnt want to go because we were going to different schools which meant he wouldnt be there to hold my hand or walk me to my classes. My emotions were all over the place, i mean yours would be too if it was your first day of highschool.
"hey babe,you there?" he said nervously.
"yeah, sorry i was just thinking, i cant believe were going to different schools.. who will i sit with at lunch or talk to during school. Defintly not Jeanette. She hates me as far as i know."Jeanette was my bestfriend since 2nd grade and i only had her and mike. But over the summer jeanette told me i was selfish and only cared about my boyfriend and now she wants nothing to do with me.
"You'll be fine, i know how strong you are. You'll make new friends, but you better not forget about me". We both laughed because no way in hell could i ever forget about the love of my life. We continued our normal conversation.
Me and mike met back on July 4th. We were at the beach to watch fireworks and me and Jeanette went for a walk. It was so dark except for the Bombfires that i walked right into him. i felt so bad and we locked eyes and ever since then i beleive in love at first sight.The next week we met again, only this time it was his birthday-July 13th. We recognized eachother and talked for hours, we swaped numbers and became bestfriends. One day he admitteed he liked me and kissed me. We've had a thing since but we arent officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Maybe everything will change this year!
