It's like something's missing...
and I don't know how to get it back.
I've never felt so empty.
And tired.
And lonely.
Like nothing's going right.
Everything is falling down around me.
But I don't know for sure.
I seem intact.
No one's noticing a change.
So am I imagining this all?
Am I crazy for feeling like there's no hope left?
But I am crazy, aren't I?
I think what I really need is for someone to just look at me normally, for once.
I need someone to come into my life willing to look past the labels and scars,
someone who will just hold me and let me cry it out.
That's really all I need.

You say you get butterflies when you talk to him. But that's not love. You say he makes you smile. But that's not love. You say it 'feels right' when he holds you. But that's not love. You say you love him for all that he is. But that's not love. You say every little thing about him gives you joy. But that's not love. Love is your stomach exploding every time you talk to him, love is your brain shutting down and your heart skipping a beat whenever he walks by, love is grinning like a fool just because he's in the same room as you, love is feeling like you're in another world when he holds you, if he holds you, and never burning the feeling and moment in the back of your mind, love is hating him for half the things he is, but getting past that and realizing you're still helplessly head over heels for him, nonetheless, and love is every little thing he does leaving you breathless and star-struck, and getting up every willing him to say just a word to you, just to have the wind knocked out of you again. Take it from the girl who's been loving him from afar all these years while you waltz in and fool him, stringing him along for the ride while I'm forced to watch.
