First Date:
*Lemme know if i should continue:)
“Hey baby girl.” he said as he looked at me with the blue eyes that I had the privilege of falling in love with. Finally, pulling myself away from his eyes, I couldn’t help but miss his smile; it was the biggest I’d seen him smile in a long time.
“Hi,” I said as I walked towards him. When I was finally close enough to smell his freshly applied cologne, he intertwined his fingers with mine, the way I loved so much.
“You look really pretty, tonight, my love.” He said as he took in my presence the way he always had.
I blushed and replied with “Why thank you, bebe. You look very nice, too.” He laughed at me, knowing that I could have said so much more, he leaned down and kissed me very quickly, when he pulled away, he lead me into the restaurant keeping one hand locked with mine. As we approached the table that our parents were seated at, we noticed that they were sitting on one side letting us sit by one another. He let me slide in before him, keeping my hand in his. As we both got settled in he let my hand go (something that I had always hated), but as soon as I let go, he put his arm behind me, and I quickly grabbed his other hand started playing with his fingers, the way I always did. Our parents were amazed at us, carrying on there own conversations at the time.
“So, how are you tonight, Judy?” I said to begin a conversation that all of us could be involved in, so I thought.
“I’m good, having a good time chatting with your mom,” eyeing her son, “what about you, dear?”
“I’m very good,” as I looked up, I saw him watching me. He knew that his mom didn’t care for me, but the way I remained friendly with her, amazed him. We saw the waitress coming to take our orders, knowing that I didn’t look at the menu, I told him to order for me. My mom looked up to see that he still had his arm draped around me; we were carrying on a conversation about something totally irrelevant to the dinner. She didn’t look too pleased, but this didn’t seem to bother my very handsome date, or myself.
The waitress walked up and sat my food down in front of me, my eyes got really big, and he couldn’t help but laugh at me. After the waitress left, I pointed to my plate, “You’re sharing with me, RIGHT?!”
“Uhm, no baby, that would be all yours.” He said while still laughing.
“It’s not funny, babe!” I found myself laughing at my reaction, soon enough too, “I can’t eat all of that!”
“Alright, alright, yes, it’s for us to share.” Still laughing at me, I couldn’t help but laugh with him.
As he took a bite, he noticed that I hadn’t taken a bite before him, like I usually did. “So, now you’re not going to eat any of it?”
Give him one of my unusual expressions, “what do you mean?”
As he put more food on his fork, “here, take a bite,”
“No!”
“Why not?”
“Wait thirty more seconds, and I will.”
“Wha-wait, is this one of those stupid, ‘if it’s going to poison anyone, it’ll be you’ kind of things?”
I laughed at him, and his knowing sense that I was being a dork, “Meeeebbeeeee” I said with a smile.
“You’re such a dork, ya know that?” he said as I took the food off of his fork.
I smiled, “Yeees, I am, but you wover me!”
“Hmm.. I dunno..” thinking it over for a few more seconds, “Okay, yes I do”
Satisfied with his answer, “Good.”
