What is the meaning of life?
Why is this such a big question? You can't just find some scientific mathematical answer like "42".
I think its doing what you love, and having fun.
I think it is about knowing when to be crazy and when to be serious, but enjoying every minute of it.
Life is about making friends, and doing things that make you happy.
Its about running barefoot in the sand, blowing bubbles sometimes, kissing someone you love.
Its about having dreams and wishing on stars.
I think its about growing a little wiser with every year's birthday candles you blow out.
It is about making friends, doing things that make you happy, smiling, falling in love, and trying new things.
Everyday you get a little older
and you can never get time back, so why waste a minute being unhappy?

TODAY
i' m o f f school for t he day.
the next week, actually.
yesterday at school, we had a parents day, where you bring in one of your parents and show them around. my dad is dying of a disease called UIP which has no cure, so he needs a wheelchair and an oxygen mask all the time. at the time, he was in hospital, like usual, but we managed to get him discharged for the day so he could turn up. he was really excited about it, and so was i.
i know he stands out, but i'm proud of him for not caring. i was wheeling him around and showing him my classes when a group of guys in my year came over to us. i didn't really know them. then, one of them started mocking the way dad has to pant to breathe at all, and another one called out, "hey, nice wheelchair, freakshow."
dad said, "just walk away", so i did.
after lunch, once the parents had gone home, the boy who mocked dad came up to me again and said, "nice dad... bet he's not gonna last long."
i have never slapped anyone so hard in my life.
the school has suspended me.
sometimes i just wish people understood </3
