My friends, The memories
the reading when the others wont wake up, the hating eachother, the hugs,
the losses, the nights we never slept, the disney movies we all love,
the endless supply of food, the way you helped me get through the day,
the laughs, the bowling trips, the countless movies we've seen, the
things we've obsessed over, the boys we've swooned for, the oranges
we refuse to throw out, the european handball games that never end,
the 'theres a bomb' jokes, the neighbor gang, the kool kids klub, the
time we went to the movies but ate more than watched the movie,
the time we sang 1234 with Tex and made it our ringtones, the forgotten
friends i dont mention, the ones i've yet to make.

I've tried to sympathize
and be there beside you
through all the pain
I have too many friends
that cant prevent the blade
too many tears
have been shed on my shoulder
I cant see it anymore
everyday the slash
everyday the blood
everyday the need
i cant take it anymore
and ive tried so hard to

but im not perfect
