Chapter 1
I felt a normal cold breeze hit me as I was walking towards my house . It was just like any other September night, dark but warm. I heard normal sounds around me like teenagers sitting on porches talking , cars driving down the street. I saw a kid from my history class , walking toward a dark alley carrying books , they must have just came form the library . I was trying to thinking about why they would walk through a alley around 10 . I tried to clear my mind and forget about it , I eventually got to my house. As soon as I entered the house I heard the news , I started to walk toward the living room. I froze it was showing a picture of Catherine , it was the girl I saw coming from the library and heading toward the alley . It was saying Catherine was missing , I could not believe it . “ honey do you know Catherine Scott” my mother turned and looked at me , I nodded . “ can you believe that she is missing?” “ no I just saw her on my way home I saw her about to walk into the alley” . “ ok honey why don’t you go and get some sleep.” , I nodded and went up stairs . I walked into my room and laid on my bed and thought of how everyone must miss her, all of a sudden I fell asleep.
