Perhaps
''hello'' was our greatest fear.
Therein a simple greeting was a void of discomfort to overcome.
The fear was: What would we become thereafter?
Friends to lovers, or strangers within strangeness prevailing?
But our eyes met anyway,
and I said hello before my mind could even think it.

I love
the stage where two people have just started
to develop feelings for each other.
At that point, there were no worries or as much problems.
That moment where the two tell each other
they “like” the other,
I think is my favorite part.
Even before the relationship starts...

I love that feeling when someone special

I dislike
getting those wonderful dreams
and waking up with nothing.
Those dreams where it felt so real and intense.
It felt like you were really there
and actually sharing that moment.
Then BAM!
You wake up, look around, and see everything gone ..
and in your mind saying
“It was just a dream ..”

When you like someone,
everything changes.
Once you start liking someone,
your whole perspective of them changes.
You over-think everything.
Every little thing they do or say gets to you.
In your eyes, they become a lot more attractive
than they were before.
You start to give them your undivided attention.
You’ll only notice the good sides of them
and look past their flaws.
You think about them a lot… all the time
more than anything else....

Have you ever
just looked at someone and thought,
“I really love you?”
They’re just talking or humming or watching a movie
or reading a book or laughing or something,
and there’s something about them in that moment
—their body is alive, there’s a light in their eyes, something—
that makes you think,
“I just really love you.”
It’s a weird sensation to think this,
but it’s pretty awesome that
we can feel this way about another person.

It’s like
once you find that special person,
you just stop looking.
Your main focus is that specific person and
every other person that tries to flirt with you
just becomes a big blur.
It’s because no one else matters
but that one person in your heart.
That person has captured your heart
and no one can take your attention away anymore.
That person can ultimately be the one or
that person can be the one that
can break your heart.

At first
you don’t even know it’s happening.
It all just started with a simple “hello,”
and you never would have guessed it would lead to this.
Your mind starts to focus on that one person,
and nothing else.
Whenever you see, talk to, or even are near that special someone,
those butterflies and that smile appear
as your problems seem to disappear.
Everything they say or do makes you smile.
You just have that happy feeling inside again.
It’s a good feeling, isn’t it?

The longer
you stay single
and feel lonely, the easier it is to feel like
there’s something wrong with you.
A number of talking and dating stages that failed
to turn into something more,
people leaving you feeling like you weren’t worth the effort,
or simply because they found someone better.
It’s so easy to just feel like you’re not meant to be with anyone.
To over-analyze every situation to see what you could have done
to possibly save what you had,
where in the end you just blame yourself.
When you put yourself out there with everything you’ve got
when an opportunity arrives, just to see it go to waste.
It’s just so exhausting...
