Awwww :( this was so sad to read. For the longest time I lost access to my computer and mobile was too hard to get the hang of. I was setting up my computer today and decided to come back on, and it took me forever to even remember my log in it has been so long. You were one of the best quote makers on here so it actually means a lot to me that you even remembered me after all this time haha. I hope that you check this a lot more frequently than I have in the past 2 years. You're a very kind person and I hope life has been just as kind to you these past few years!

Awww, the little garbage heist-ers πŸ˜‚ The only time my dogs dig through the garbage is if there is chicken packaging in there- then when they're done they like to pee on it. So proud of making a mess they want to officially claim it as theirs 😩

Hahaha that's adorable, I wish it was that easy to get my dog to eat anything. When we go to hotels, my mom likes to get rolls and those indivually packaged butters that they serve at breakfast, and if you leave the butter unattended, he will grab them and go through the effort of biting open the packaging just to eat the little bit of butter in there, over just eating a bowl of dog food.

My dogs are notorious for biting into packages too. They also like to raid the garbage cans in my and my sister's bedrooms and the kitchen and, in smooth criminal fashion, leave the evidence of their fun in and around their dog beds.

I had to google what a Pekingese-Sheltie mix looks like and omg they're so cute haha I know a lady that adores Shelties. I feel you on the leash thing, my sister's min pin runs off all the time- she's not affectionate either. She does love water, though... well, if it's warm (like a bath or shower, she does not do pools.) That's totally my dog as well, except when it comes to dog food lol the only time he will touch it is if the cat shows interest in it- then he has to have it haha

The female looks more like a Pekingese and her brother leans more toward Shetland sheepdog in appearance, but yes, they are very cute. I've caught her scarfing down cat food shamelessly numerous times, but I don't think my cats ever bother with her kibble. If they did I know she'd be on it like gravy on rice.

Haha omg she sounds like she was the most adorable dog ever. I don't think I've ever seen a dog actually fetch anything. Mine is too spoiled. He doesn't fetch unless it's food lol (especially butter. he is insane for butter. he is the Paula Deen of dogs.) The only time he'll deal with water is if we go swimming, but he definitely prefers lounging on a raft. They definitely are very loving

The two I have now are a Pekingese-Sheltie mix, and though I love them, they're considerably less active/affectionate/behaved. They don't do anything 'playful' but flop over for a belly rub when you walk by, and they're pretty stingy with kisses. They have to be kept on leashes when outside, whereas I could open the front door and let my rat terrier run freely around the yard until she was ready to come back in. And they only drink water -- they hate to be in it. They fight to get free of my arms when I'm bringing them to the bathtub. Yours sounds like my male; he's a huge pig. Eats anything that doesn't try to eat him first. xD

Oh my gosh, I knew it! Mine was too! I miss her so much, she was the best dog I ever had. So loving and playful. She loved fetching -- pinecones, sticks, tennis balls, just throw it and she'd go after it -- and getting wet. We had a plastic kiddy pool just for her. πŸ˜‚
I think they're one of the sweetest breeds, honestly.

my mom used to be that way, at least with my sisters. she didn't give a crap what I did, so I did it anyway. bought the dye and just did everything myself. isn't much to do after its already dyed. But I guess I shouldn't be promoting such rebellion

That sucks :( it's a real bummer when parents don't let their kids dye their hair. It isn't permanent or anything and even if it was, hair grows.
reply

MaddyWaddy · 8 years ago
honestly, I've wanted blue or red hair now for ages! my parents won't even let me dye my hair dark brown. it's super annoying

You would in no way be burdening me. I've always really liked and admired you, and I noticed you've been upset lately, and it makes me sad to see such a wonderful person in pain. I want to do whatever I can for you, and if that means doing something as simple as hearing you out, I'd be more than willing to.

1.) Your boyfriend has good taste lol
2.) Thank you very much! :)
3.) Yes, I did. I used manic panic. Purple in the picture is Mystic Heather, but I have switched to a darker purple (Ultra Violet.) Blue is Atomic Turquoise. Green is Electric Lizard. You can get it at Hot Topic, Sally's, and sometimes Spencers (though, Sally's is the best bet. if you can find the colors you want at Hot Topic it would probably be cheaper since they are always doing a sale. Spencers is generally the one that has limited colors.) I would also like to specify that purple is a complicated color to get to stick, if that is a color you choose to go with. It washes out really fast, so I highly recommend to get extra dye and to apply some right before you take a shower or bath. Manic Panic is vegan so the dye doesn't do any damage to your hair. If you are ever interested in red tho, I strongly suggest the brand Pravanna Chromosilk Vivids (you can only order it online. And its pretty expensive for a tube. But it holds up longer than what Manic Panic or Beyind the Zone reds do.) If you wanted me to get even more specific with dyes, for bleaching my hair I ADORE highlighting/frosting kits (generally loreal or revlon~ i believe $10 at most?) And for my black underneath I just went to DollarTree and bought a box of black hairdye for $1.

Thank you so much! (: I do enjoy dying my hair as well (the purple not sticking is one of the firsts I have experienced with, and it made me sad when it faded so quickly) but I do appreciate the help and where to get the hair dyes! I shall use them when I possibly have time and money (:
