"OH MY GOD!" I screeched. "Wait, shh please, I don't want
anyone
to recognise me." he pleaded. "Oops!" I giggled feeling light
headed.
"Come with me." I gestured to a small office in the corner of the
shelter. " Sure.." he mumbled. When we were both safely inside,
I shut the door tightly behind us so no one could hear our
conversation. "Now, I said in a professional voice. How can I help
you?" I sat down on the chair. I can't believe Harry Styles is at
the homeless shelter I work at! "So, he said, flashing me what I
think should be his most winning smile. Your a fan then?"
"WHAT? I say excitedly. A fan?" He looked shocked. "Oh, are
you not?"
"Of course, sorry.." I stuttered. "What's your favourite song
then?" he asked. Oops, the thing is I barely know One Direction
at all. In fact,
I don't like their music at all. But, I was trying to be friendly. The
thing is, is that I was just happy to see someone not dressed in
rags. It's just there's not much room left in the shelter and it's
getting really crowded. "Umm, I like them all.." I say quickly, and
change the subject. "So what are you doing here?" His smile
wipes of his face, he slouches his shoulders and his eyes have
a hint of sadness and regret in them. "Well, I.." I cut him off. "If
it's too painful to talk about, you don't have to." I offer. "No, you
should know why I'm here." He says. And the nexy words
that come out of Harry Styles's mouth I will never forget.
In that moment, I lost all respect I have ever had for Harry
Styles,
and believe me, there wasn't much to lose.
