I am thankful
-For the taxes my family pays
Because it means they have a job.
-For the mess I have to clean up after a party
Because it means I have been surrounded by friends.
-For the clothes that fit too snug
Because it means I have enough to eat.
-For my shadow who watches me
Because it means I'm in sunshine.
-For the lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and a gutter that needs fixing
Because it means I have a home.
-For all the complaining I hear about the government
Because it means we have freedom of speech.
-For the spot all the way at the end of the parking lot
Because it means i'm capable of walking.
-For the huge heating bill
Because it means my family is warm.

of how many people have sat next to you
on a bus, train, whatever.
Now think how many people have sat next to you on purpose
with their fingers crossed in hope that you’ll talk to them.
I’m sure somebody has.
There’s plenty of times when somebody’s seen you and
hoped that you spoke to them, but you never did because
you don’t have the guts and neither do they. Don’t go around
thinking nobody likes you and that you’re not loved. There’s
been plenty of times when a stranger has spotted you and
thought “Oh, they’re just my type” but haven’t had the
courage or confidence to open their mouth and initiate a conversation.
The funny thing is, neither have you.

In less than two weeks i start high school.. you guys have no idea how scared i am. Most of my friends are all going to north and me and 3 other friends are going to south. I am so scared, i'm not going to know anyone. I don't think i have ever been this stressed out in my life. If you guys can help please comment!

Today I went shopping & saw a little boy.
No, he didn't call me beautiful.
Instead, he yelled at me ,"Monster."
His brother came up to him and knelt to his level.
His brother looked him into the eye & said some word.
"Listen, I'll beat you up when you get home if you don't apologize."
The little kid took one look at me and said, "I'm sorry." Gave me a pouty face and left.
I turned to his brother, "Thank you." I flashed a smiled.
He smiled, "It's no problem. Anything to keep the next generation filled with chivalry."
I looked at him and my mouth dropped open.
He smiled and introduced himself.
I smiled back.

Some girl left a comment that really got to me about people having cancer.
She wrote about her grandpa and how he was dying from brain cancer.
She also wrote how he fought for our country.
I keep thinking about this, since I never thought of how strong that man is.
This man is officially my inspiration.
I can't remember who wrote the comment.
But, I'll always remember what it said.
Tonight, I'll be praying for the soldiers, people with cancer.
& Former soldiers who are ill and dying.
Since they fought for our countries.
& Now, they're fighting for their lives.
& There should be no person in this world.
To suffer that much.
