    It was the third week of 7th grade.
    Little Bobby had just walked in.
    His old friend, Mary Lou,
    Was in the corner with no grin.
    When Little Bobby walked over,
    Mary Lou looked up for her task.
    Little Bobby's eyes met hers.
    "What's up?" was all he could ask.
    Little Bobby thought up in his head,
    "She's beautiful. What am I doing?"
    Mary Lou turned away and said,

    As I walked home from school one day,
    I realized something strange.
    Something was sticking out of the grass,
