OUR GENERATION:
Where teen pregnancy is more common than ever,
and looking like a stick is the new style.
Where kids get bullied left and right,
and we always have to fake a smile.
Where our opinions aren't excepted,
and most little kids have already swore.
Where the blood streams down our fragile wrists,
and our eyes swell with tears, head to the floor.
Where looking like an orange is more important than school,
and girls starve to get the perfect body.
Where theres at least one swear in every teen's sentence,
and instead of "she's beautiful," she's "a hottie".
And I sit here and wonder, "What have we become?"
as I wipe the tears so I don't smear my foundation,
and the only answer to my question is:
I guess it's just our generation.
