Weight Loss Tips [BUNDLE]
1) If you really want to lose weight, but don't tend to commit
to your 'projects', write a list of why you want to lose weight, and how important it is,
and put it somewhere you'll see it every morning.
2) Slow is the way to go. Don't go all drastic and run 30 miles in one day.
3) Weight yourself no more than once a week, and record it on a small book (week one - [weight]. Weighting yourself more than once a week can result in getting you frustrated, since you wouldn't notice any change. It's also better to have a set day and time. Mine is every sunday before I have breakfast.
4) Drink liquids at least 30 minutes before or after eating. It helps your tummy not dilate so much.
5) Try doing exercise for 30 minutes when you wake up, before you shower. You don't have to go much. Jog in the spot, squats, pull-ups, and anything you're comfortable with. - When you do this in the morning, it's harder to procrastinate because there won't be that many things in your way.
6) Try asking a friend to go jogging/for a walk with you. Decide how far you want to go, and then come back walking, as well.
7) Eat fruit at least twice a day, if you can.
8) Take chopped carrots or an apple in your purse, in case you get hungry.
9) Eat only when you're hungry! If you crave something, no matter what you eat won't satisfy your craving. So if you crave, eat fruit. If you eat too early, before you're hungry - you will still get hungry as if you hadn't eaten.
10) If at your house there's a lot of fried stuff, just decrease the quantity you eat (e.g: you used to eat one portion of meat; now eat half) and add salad to replace the quantity.
11) Have a motivation! Mine is 'Happiness'. I write it on my arm when I go jogging/exercise.. It helps me keep going (: - Try getting a top or some jeans one or two sizes smaller. Make sure you REALLY like them though. That can be your motivation! (:
12) Contract and relax your tummy as much as you can. Believe it or not, it helps burn fat.
13) No sodas! They're actually quite unheatly. EVEN the diet ones. There's juice, and water. Pure substances! And trust me, I know it's hard. I'm a Coke addict, but sometimes it has to be done :/
14) Reward yourself with one whole wheat cookie on a Sunday after weighting yourself . I swear, there's good ones out there! Or, hell, reward yourself with any cookie! (:
15) Don't get popcorn for movies. That's just automatic eating and you won't stop. Get something healty like, a cereal bar?
16) When you lose the weight, have a limit - no getting over [your weight] + [10 pounds].
