I push people away from me and I deny myself of love.
Not because I want to be alone, or because I don't want love,
but because I'm afraid of it. I'm afraid of all of it.
The initial moment when you get attached that leads
to the sadness of it all. I'm scared by the thought
of maybe letting someone in and having to watch them leave.
I guess it's just easier to break my own heart before someone else can.
