to me faking everything is getting old and wearing me down.
i just want to be me for once, to be sad to be mad. faking a smile and that happiness at times does sometimes make me forget what is wrong. but then reality hits even harder. i dont think most of my smiles have meant anything in the past year. my happiness most of the time is real. which when i do have it, it is absolutely amazing. but i am losing more than i am gaining. right when things are going my way it crashes. burns. tears me down. do i show it? hell no. why cant you open up to people? thats a question i was asked a long time ago. i didnt respond, i couldnt think of why. i have thought long and hard about that. i guess its because i am scared of becoming too vulnerable then losing that person. i guess its because thats who i am. i have never trusted someone easily. whenever i get close to someone i either move, we get into a fight, or we just drift apart. i hate that. i hate it. no i do not simply dislike it with a burning passion, i hate it. i know that God does all these things to us for a reason. but lately, i havent been able to see why. and i get even more frustrated with myself. i dont know what to do anymore. i would try to have someone help but that all goes back to drifting apart and fighting. i think i am just flat out scared. scared to be forgotten. scared to be lost. scared to be not right. scared to not be happy. scared to show my emotions. scared to stop putting on that fake smile so everyone can see me at my worst. scared to be me. i dont want to be. i really honestly dont. i need help. badly. when you think really hard about it, you can help someone in their times of need. but some people like me, need attention and help all the time. but i dont show it. i just cant. my way of forgetting my problems is to take on other peoples and help them with it. when i take on that i totally forget about myself and what i need to do for me. which is bad. but i have done that for so long now i dont know how to stop.

Dear Boy,
So maybe you & I were supposed to end this way, both going in our own directions. We
are two completely different people and no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't
overcome our differences. No, I'm not sad that it's over between us, but yet I'm not
happy either. We had something special, but in the end the sparks just didn't cut it.
Anyways, I'm mostly writing this letter to tell you I've someone else, someone else
who can make me smile & give me butterflies. Someone who reaches for my hand first
and likes to rub my thumb, just like you did. He knows that I love it when boys hold the
door open for me & I love to joke around. He makes me happier then I've been in a long
