The one whos always been there
chapter ten.
“So, what are you in the mood for?” Ben asked Savannah. They had just left the field and rode in Ben’s old blue pick up truck. “What about eggs?” Savannah suggested. As the rode in the pick up truck, Ben held Savannahs hand, and one hand was on the starring wheel. “Our first date, and you want eggs?” Ben laughed. “Well it is 10 o’ clock in the morning.” She giggled. “True, very true, But wouldn’t you want something more, fabulous?” “Ben, I don’t need anything ‘fabulous’ im happy with eggs, and you.” “Okay, eggs it is then.” He smiled at Savannah, and she leaned over and kissed his cheek.
They walked hand in hand into the diner. Their waiter seated them near the window, overlooking mountains and mountains of trees. “This is so pretty.” Savannah smiled, taking in the environment.
“Just like you.” Ben reached over and took Savannah’s hand. She blushed, “Your too sweet.”
After they ordered their food, Ben told Savannah everything that had happened when she lost her memory.
“Did I really lose it?” Savannah asked.
“Yes, you really did.”
“I cant believe I would forget you.”
“It wasn’t your fault, you did fall pretty hard.” Ben shrugged.
“But y-y-you so much to me.” Savannahs eyes filled with tears.
“Don’t cry, its over now. What matters is that you remember now, right?” Ben tightened his grip on Savannahs hand.
“Yes, right.” She smiled.
The waiter soon came with their meals, Savannah order eggs, toast and a glass of orange juice. Ben ordered pancakes and bacon, with a glass of milk. They ate and talked, there was never a moment of silence, for they had much to talk about. Savannah felt as things were finally coming together, and she was finally happy.
