I endured every day of every week, Sophie was even visiting Logan at home at weekends, and I was always able to notice it since Sophie always uses the Pink BMW that her dad gave her just last year, and she orders her driver to honk the car's horn when they arrive at Logan's house, it's like she wants me to suffer from depression all over again! But at the last Friday of the month, the moth that they could finally break up, I just felt like people were stabbing my back with small knives, each to last and make me feel horrible. I stood there and watched as Logan kissed Sophie, lips to lips, tongue to tongue. I ran off since it was last period and only 15 minutes left to dismissal. Megan was absent that day, she was busy with one of the art competitions she joined. Gray came running after me.
"It's just not fair!" I shouted as I stopped running, and fell to my knees, I was already crying.
"Jewel, it'll be fine, it's just a...goodbye kiss!" Gray said as he stood beside me, comforting me, in the most stupid way.
"A goodbye kiss!? Honestly, Gray, couldn't you think of something else! You've got a girlfriend for Steve's sake!" I looked at Gray in the eye, and wiped my tears rapidly.
"Who's Steve?"
"Who Cares! I'm crying and I'm frustrated!" I buried my head in my arms and sobbed.
"You know, I bet if you tell him your feelings for him, he would totally be your boyfriend"
"Shut up! Confessing is not that easy! And he probably just likes me as a best friend!"
"Jewel, I know I'm an idiot, but it's very obvious he likes you back, he wouldn't have dated Sophie if he liked you just as a friend, he would just help stop you and Sophie from arguing"
"..." I sniffled, and wiped my tears once again.
Gray walked me home, and after he left, Megan immediately texted me, that Gray, he really can't handle situations well, but I just texted back that I was fine. I was too depressed to look at my laptop let alone go on witty. I felt so sluggish all of a sudden.
Joel came in the my room. I really should lock my room at all times. He lied down beside me, and asked if I was okay.
"I'm fine! Leave me alone!" I said as I buried my head under the pillow.

I decided not to go to school today, I told my mom I didn't get enough sleep, and she scolded me and told me I could skip today. I was just laying on my bed, staring at the roof, thinking. Thinking about Sophie being with Logan, it would've been fine before, but why did she attack only a few weeks after?
No...she planned it...she planned it all! She wanted me to fall for him so she could be more satisfied with her revenge. Damn it! Damn it all! I screamed into my pillow. My phone rang, it was a text, 3 messages, one from, Megan, Gray -- and Logan.
I read Megan's first. Hey don't tell me you're still bothered by ystrday? He does NOT like Sophie! Not one bit! U should see her face when he ignores her :) Don't skip tomorrow! >:( Megan's message made me smile
Gray's message was U sick??? :D Jk! Y u no come class??? That one made me giggle a bit.
Jewel??? Pls don't do this to me :( Pls reply to one of us, we need to talk ASAP! PLEASE! I'm texting u at class and I might get detention! :@ At Logan's message, I just slightly smiled. I thought of replying to Megan at their lunch time.
So I slept for maybe, 30 minutes. And replied
J: Lol, just didn't get enough sleep. don't worry :)
M: Oh that's good! we were really worried! Logan says 'Hi' :P
Megan's POV
"Hey! What's with the face you added!?" Logan said, his face was red, so I couldn't tell if he was blushing or just mad
"It's for emphasis!" I said, grinning.
"Emphasis, my butt! Let me message her!" Logan took my phone and started typing. Gray and me were just staring at him. I could notice Sophie from her table staring at us, though
Back to Jewel's POV
And my phone lit up and rang again, a message from Megan.
M: Jewel, it's Logan! Ignore the face Megan added! It was nonsense!
J: Yeah, yeah! :P
At least it cheered me up, I think I could be strong enough to handle tomorrow. I've got friends like Megan, Gray and Logan after all.

Logan wasn't walking to school with me today, so he would probably come to school late today. I went into my class and sat down in my seat.
"Hey Jewel, where's Logan?" Gray asked
"I think he'll be late today"
"Are you sure? He could be sick."
"Nah, if he was sick he would've texted one of us don't you think?"
"Well, you have a point there."
Actually I was even thinking that maybe, just maybe, he was actually too embarrassed from last time, when his older brother Aaron, called me, and he had to shout from next door to explain to me the situation. Joel was in the yard at the time, so he laughed and teased me and said 'You have such a weird boyfriend sis!' and me and Joel had a petty fight about it, you know, normal sibling fights, but he was pulling my hair and I was tugging on his shirt and tickling him. Our parents would always say we're so immature for still fighting like that when we're only one year apart. We tell them 'It's how we bond!' It works for us.
Then Logan came in class.
"There you are Logan! I thought you'd be absent!" Gray said
"Yeah, woke up late" Logan replied as we sat in his seat
"Gray even thought you were sick"
"Eck! You're acting like your my girlfriend, Gray! Disgusting!"
"Hey bro, I'm just worrying!" Gray giggled
"Oh well, you're fine so who cares?" I grinned
"Psh! Obviously not you!"
We all laughed. And while we were in the middle of class, Logan passed me a note, saying Pls don't think 2 much about last time I replied with I'm not, don't worry! geez! But we kept passing notes anyway.
L: U sure?
J: VERY!
L: good! pls forget about it! :)
J: enough, idiot! we'll get caught!
L: oh yeah! sorry! :@
And we stopped, t was pretty fun, it was my first time doing that, so it was pretty special. I liked how silly he can be, and how much I enjoy it when we're together. Maybe I am in love?
And I posted q quote on witty describing my feelings and ended it with Is this love? and I was freaked out by my follower's comments and the 25 faves I got the next hour. 25 is pretty much my record.
Geez! What do I do!? If I am in love should I confess my feelings or something? I really wanna keep being like this! Just enjoying each others company! But I also want to feel the feeling of holding hands with the person you love! What do I do!? I checked to my favorite wittian who makes the best quotes I know of, and he posted exactly what I was feeling so I commented and said I know how u feel :'( I dunno what 2 do either Dx he replied on my profile saying Nice 2 know there are people in my boat! :') It really was obvious he was a guy, but most of the girls still treat him as a girl since he keeps his gender secret.
If he really was a guy I'd love to meet him.

I felt all tingly and cheery in my stomach today. I've never felt this happy on a Sunday. Since I would always feel depressed on how I have to get back to school and see Sophie again. It was only my luck that got Sophie to be in class 2. But she would bother me when she got the chance. Did I mention that yesterday Logan and Gray gave me their numbers too?
They said I was pretty pathetic for having only 4 contacts on my phone, namely, my mom, dad, Joel, and Megan. In a jokingly manner of course, they didn't really say pathetic, it was more like "No way! Just 4? Let me give you mine!" but I still think pathetic was on their mind, call me too insecure, I don't really care. But when Logan saw that Gray was exchanging numbers with me he just jumped in and gave me his too, in a cold way, I couldn't tell if he was mad at me or mad at Gray, though I still didn't get it.
My phone rang. My ringtone was just one of those that was in the phone, I listen to music on my laptop rather than my phone.
"Hello? Logan?"
"Uh no, this is Aaron, I'm his older brother is this Jewel?"
"Um...Yes it is"
On the other line he laughed, and then I could hear Logan's voice
"Who are you calling with my phone?"
"Oh, no one!" I could tell Aaron was mocking Logan, but I didn't know why.
"No...No! Aaron give me that phone! Damn you!"
And then the call ended. But I heard Logan from my open window.
"Hey Jewel!!!" He shouted, he was at the front yard, standing and Aaron his older brother was sitting on the porch, Aaron waved at me though.
"What?"
"Ignore the call! That's nothing!!!"
"No, Jewel that's something! Just keep it in your head!" Aaron shouted
"Shut up Aaron! Geez! Don't you have an architect thing to do!?"
"It's called Architecture! And it's college!"
I shut the window, and took a deep breath, and just went on witty, typing a quote of how my feelings for Logan are so complicated, that my stomach is all tingly.
And the following two weeks, we spent together with Megan and Gray, I'm really surprised how Sophie hasn't bothered me yet. Two weeks is her personal record for now.

Logan continued ignoring me for two whole days, ignoring me at class, not to mention lunch. Using a different shortcut to get home, and it really got me depressed. He was so stubborn and I still didn't know why. It's a Saturday so since I am a nerd, I didn't have plans, but Megan was sweet enough to give me her number so I texted her to come over. She already knew where I lived from the time she visited Logan.
"So this is your typical day? On your laptop browsing the web?" Megan asked, laying down on my bed.
"Well, yeah, I'm a nerd after all" I replied, I was sitting on the beanbag just beside my bed. Megan giggled.
"Well Jewel if you are a nerd, you'd be the most beautiful nerd in the world!" Me and Megan giggled.
"Hey what are you browsing on anyway? You haven't accepted my facebook request" Megan replied, sat up and pouted at me.
"Oh well, it's umm"
"Hey c'mon lemme see!" I quickly exited my witty tab and the Google tab was left open.
"Wow, you're quicker than I thought..." Megan pouted once more
"It's nothing, anyway, you sure you don't have plans?"
"Nope! But I'm going on an art contest at 8:00!"
"I really love your art! They're amazing!" I praised her.
"Really? Which? Sketches? Paintings?"
"All of the above!" I giggled, and so did Megan.
Then Megan's phone rang, her ringtone was a RnB song, I couldn't really make out which it was. Megan answered it.
"Hello?...Gray?...I'm with Jewel...Well...Lemme check if she'll be fine with it...Good idea!" Megan ended the call
"Hey Jewel! Come with me! We're going to the mall! I'll treat you so you don't need to bring any money, just get dressed!"
"Uh...okay?"
I switched off my laptop, and changed into a pair of my jeans, which were a bit skinny, and just wore a beige cardigan over my pale pink top, which I used last night to sleep.
"Megan! Jewel! What a coincidence!" Gray said in such an idiotic manner. They set me up, Logan was standing just behind Gray, not making any eye contact with me.
"Oh Gray! Hey why don't we hang out all together??" Megan asked
"Yeah...sure" Me and Logan said in monotone.
We just followed behind Megan and Gray, it kind of disgusted me how they were holding hands and smiling like idiots together. But I didn't hate it as much as I used to, I actually thought it was a bit cute. I looked at Logan's hand and looked away quickly, just the thought of holding it made me blush.
"Hey..." Logan said looking down on the floor while walking
"Y-yeah?" I replied frantically
"Do you hate me?"
"A bit, yeah" I didn't even hesitate to answer
"What? What kind of reply is that?" Logan returned to his old self, and we started arguing our petty fights again.
Being set up wasn't all that bad. I felt like and idiot afterwards, but oh well! It was a fun experience at the most!
