Luna.

Hello there beautiful person! Just a preface before you read my quotes:
Usually before I go to bed, I write stories of people who are living my dream life.
So, I decided, why not make one big giant story out of it?
However, since these short-stories are often very different and tend to have no purpose,
I also decided that this story will not have an important plot,
but it will simply be a story of life and love and loss.
The point of views will fluctuate;
sometimes the girl character will narrate, sometimes the boy character will narrate.
Each chapter will probably be a journal entry of sorts,
or maybe just thoughts or memories of the narrating character.
(it will make more sense once you read it.)
Also, you'll find that I might attach a picture or a song that I think displays the feeling that I want to communicate through these stores.
If there is no picture, then that means I am leaving it up for you to interpret!

Finally, I think it only proper manners to introduce my two characters to you!

Riley James is the main boy in this story, and he is my dream guy.

Alice Parke, the main girl, is a more exaggerated version of myself personality-wise.
Appearence-wise, she is the way I wish I looked.

His smile, his deep brown eyes, his soft milky-white skin, his rumpled black hair... his hand in hers. It was like a dream to her.
Her smile, her stormy gray eyes, her smooth warm-beige skin, her clothes, her walk, her smell... her hand in his. It was like dream to him.
The boy and the girl walked out of the movie theater's doors, and his antiquated red car was the only one in the lot.
He leaned against the car and his face glowed with the warmth from the strands of yellow lights wrapped around the plam tree beside the parking spot they stood in.
"Let's go down to the pier," the boy suggested softly.
So they went together, the warm summer wind softly blowing the smell of the salty Atlantic Ocean on their faces. She inhaled it deeply and smiled to herself. Out of the corner of her eye, the girl could see that he was smiling as well.
When they both had gotten to the end of the pier, stretching out into the black ocean, they stopped to sit on the railing. Again, she thought to herself, this is like a dream. The stars were bright in the sky, and so was the moon. It cast a dim glow over the world below it, but the boy and the girl were glowing themselves. That moment, neither one of them heard anything but their quiet breathing and the crashing of the rolling waves and the music playing softly from the beachfront store nearby; saw nothing but the flowing ocean beyond them; felt nothing but the spray of the sea and the hug of the breeze and the warm of eachother's hands.
Surely, she thought to herself, this is what love is like.

“Casey Anthony was found not guilty of murdering her daughter, as the American public stands by in shock and awe. In other news, millions of sick and dying American children and adults still don’t have healthcare, to the shock and awe of absolutely nobody.”

Today, my girlfriend, who can't swim, tried to kill herself by jumping into the Potomac River.
Without a moments hesitation, I witnessed my ex-girlfriend, the girl who I broke up with because of my current girlfriend, jump in and save her life. -GMH

A boy was dying of cancer and needed an expensive brain surgery, but his family, broke and desperate, couldn't afford it.
His 8 year old sister Tess took her piggy bank savings to a pharmacist in order to buy a 'miracle'. It just so happens that the right man witnessed the little girl's tears at the pharmacy counter: a neurosurgeon. He performed the surgery for free. -GMH

Underneath all the hypocrisy and all the anger and all the smiles and reassurance that I'm okay now... I'm still hurt. Even though I may put up a brave front for you, I'm not as strong as I seem. I'm just a little girl. I'm hurt and confused, and everyday I feel like I'm dying inside. Even though it may seem that I'm not alone, I feel more alone than ever... and I don't think anyone will ever be able to understand how I feel, no matter how hard I try to explain. So I've gotten to the point where I've just given up trying.

"It’s just that I don’t want to be somebody’s crush. If somebody likes me, I want them to like the real me, not what they think I am. And I don’t want them to carry it around inside. I want them to show me, so I can feel it too."

"I know the night is not the same as the day: that all things are different, that the things of the night cannot be explained in the day, because they do not then exist, and the night can be a dreadful time for lonely people once their loneliness has started."
    — A Farewell To Arms
