Lately there have been a lot of One Direction quotes because a lot of girls love them and enjoy their music. They also enjoy hearing about what they have to say because it makes the boys feel like normal people, making it easier to connect to them.
Now a lot of you are going to read this and think “well f you, you just don’t like that people hate on 1D.” Guess what? That’s not true. I don’t care if you don’t like One Direction. I don’t care if you do like them. I care that you don’t like people posting about what they like.
There are a lot of things that I don’t like. When I see a quote about something I don’t like, I learn something. I learn every time about things that other do like. And I think that it is great for them to like something that I’m not into, because it once again proves that everyone is different. And I love it when people are different, because if everyone was the same life would be pretty damn boring.
One of my favorite singers is Jesse McCartney. Most of my friends don’t like him. They are more into punk rock. And you know what? We are all still friends. Even though they don’t Jesse McCartney, they still listen when I talk about him. Even though I don’t like a lot of the bands they like, I still listen when they talk about them. We do this because we care about each other, and that means caring enough to talk about music that we don’t all love. That is what being a friend is.
Witty is for expressing yourself. And on Witty we are all friends. We’re a family of Wittians. And that means caring that your Witty family members have different interests. So why don’t you all tell me what you like? You favorite music, artist, movie, book, etc? Anything that you like, because I care about us all expressing ourselves freely. J
