   I woke up to Luke snoring. Loud. "Luke!" I whispered looking up to tap his check softly. I fell asleep in Lukes lap I thought to myself biting my lip , trying to get me to stop smiling. Well whatever it was nothing. Right? "Luke!" I hissed tapping his cheek a little harder. "What?" Luke murmured his head against the bathroom wall. "Im hungry!" I whispered trying not to laugh hard. "Its four in the morning go back to sleep." He mumbled getting comfy again. "Please." I whispered turning my whole body around to look at him. He opened his eyes and smiled at me , God he was gorgeous .. But I shouldn't care right? "Well fine , whatever you want "princess" . " He said sarcastically helping me get up. We left the bathroom and I looked around the little cabin. It smelt of salt water taffy , over the walls covered pictures of all the guys and girl who I saw last night , there were mini fridges in the corner and a small kitchen to the side. And an air mattress in the closet. "Wow this place is amazing!" I chirped running around looking at all the different photos as Luke made his way to the kitchen. "Me and the gang split all the money to buy this place. Its okay." He smiled , titling his head to pull out a box of taffy out of the cabinet , he put it on the table that was in the center on the room. "So you live here?" I asked , sitting down at the table picking out my favorite taffy's to eat. "Well no , were all only 16. We just come here to hang out I guess. But the boardwalks more fun." He said poking his head into the fridge. I shrugged. "So uhm tell me about yourself A , I dont even know your last name!" I blushed a little when he said that. We talked for hours , I told him everything about my bestfriend back home , all my brothers and sisters, My mom and my dad. How old I was , My last name , Why I moved here , Who I look most like. By the time I was done telling him all about me I think I told him my life story. I tried to stay off the topic of Mike as much as I could. I ran to the bathroom to find a text from my mom. Hey hunny , hows the boardwalk going hope everything okay! Did you make any new friends , would they like to stop by , are you being safe? I looked at Luke and smiled . "Uhm do you wanna hang out at my house today?" By the time I said that me and Luke were on the floor eating salt water taffy . He smiled at me. "I wouldnt want to be any place else."

   I managed to get the guts to call Mike . Luke silently cheered my on , still holding me , ready to help me if I needed to throw up again.
   Ring , Ring , Ring *
   "Athena!" Mikes voice yelled through the phone. Like he was a kid who has a gift card to a candy shop.
   "Mike im so sorry I didn't call back sooner!" I pleaded choking through my tears.
   "No baby its fine please don't. I miss you."
   "Babe I miss you too , im so sorry!"
   "Athena im in love with you."
   "You'll forget me soon. You should."
   "Don't ever say that, Im in love with you A , I have from the beginning , every word you say , every move you make just makes me fall more and more in love with you."

I whispered , trying not to burst out crying letting him no how hurt I was. "Well I promise to be with you. To help you through everything." He smiled , trying to calm me down. I was confused . "Why would you do that?" I asked . "Cause im starting to think your something special. Plus I wouldn't be taking care of you if I really didn't care." He smiled , really sweet like. "Your cute." I mumbled sleepily , I didn't realize how tiring guys are. "Yeah well , so are you." He smiled and with that I fell asleep.

   Everyone seemed pretty excited for a bunch of kids who just moved. Ero's even was kinda excited , edging for the front door. My mom beamed with happiness. I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes. "Okay kids huddle around!" My mom called , which seemed to echo in the big hallway. "Since we just moved here I think we should go out to eat!" My mom yelled over the chit chat. "Lets go the the boardwalk." Zeus mumbled obviously not gunna pass out on the chance of getting to pick a place to eat. "Great!" My mom cheered happily , as all of us flew down the stairs. The guy screaming which new sports car we were gunna take to the board walk. Aphrodite sneered at the guys making them automatically shut up. I had to talk to her. "Hey are you okay?" I asked , trying to hold back the lump in my throat. "No everythings just jolly!" Aphrodite hissed , rolling her eyes. This was not gunna be an easy move. We all piled into the Cadillac , screaming which different songs to play on the way to the board way. Half of me wanted to be excited. Summer , living at the beach , going to the boardwalk. But Mike was never far from my head. His word making chills run through my body. I closed my eyes for a little still trying to remember everything about home. I felt a hand tap me on the shoulder a little. "Uhm hey a, I know your going through something but .. we all are. But if you think about it were not going back home. I think maybe we kinda just except that were gunna be living here. And Ya know have fun ? I mean come on A , were practically living at the beach!" I opened my eyes to see Ero's leaning over me , smiling at me softly , trying to get me to under stand. This was the kid who used to fight over who would get the first pick of the new crayon box grandma used to give us every summer. I hated that he was right. I nodded , and tried to smile. "Thanks." I whispered trying to hold back my emotions. "Come on lets go eat!" He smiled , opening the car door for me. I gotta say I was impressed for a second , all the different rides and games , different places to eat , the darkness setting over the beach making the waves seem even prettier. "Shottie at the burger place!" Achillies yelled , all the guys running down the board walk , Thanatos following after. "Hera I think they wanna eat there." My dad laughed , gesturing to Steak and Shake. "Oh fine!" My mom sighed , putting her tour guide back into her Jean pockets. The air smelt amazing like salt taffy. We sat down in the 50's looking place crammed into a booth. Trying to see who could eat their burger fast enough , meanwhile mom eyed us sipping her shake. It was actually pretty amazing. Everyone seemed kinda happy but before you knew it mom through out her tour guide book again and smiled. "Okay guys listen up , please have your cell phone with you , I think we all need time alone to take in this gorgeous place. It really is something!" My mom cooed , once again had to stop myself from rolling my eyes. Before Mom could say anything else everyone seemed to spring away , heading for the nearest thing that seemed to catch their eye. At the time I didnt know what I was thinking.

    I cried and thought for a while . Mostly cried but thats not the point . Memories came flooding back to me , like a big smack in the face . I remember when Mike pulled me into his arms when I was scared , or the first time he told me he was in love with me , the way he stroked my face , or that night I gave my virginity to him . The moment where he taught me how to skate board and the moment he told me he has never met someone like me before . I felt like I was slowly dying . Mikes face was already disappearing in my memory . Is that all I have from him now , just memory . His shaggy tinsel colored hair , his stunning blue eyes , and his long black eye lashes . His tan skin and the way his touch felt to me . His cute freckles around his nose and his smell . The way he smelled like green apples all the time , and he always tasted like the beach . The way he kissed me , the smallest move he made , and single word he said made me fall in love with him more and more . And now I was forced to let him go . To turn him into a memory of the guy I was in love with . I laughed sometimes when I thought about it , Mike looked exactly like Justin Bieber except with the prettiest blue eyes . The day I left him , was one of the worst of my life . Watching him stand there , watching his expression as we drove away heading for Jersey . Leaving him . I don't think I could take long distance relationship . It was to much . The pain . I collected myself a little and grabbed a tissue from the near cherry wood nightstand next to the bed . I whipped my eyes , and brushed my hair a little in the mirror . I rummaged through my moving box and took out my make up , re applying my eyeliner . I braided the sides of my hair and put the braids in the back . "Perfect." I smiled to myself in the mirror . But the girl in the mirror wasn't me . It was the heartbroken version on me who was slowly fading . "I promise Id call you tonight Mike . Ill keep that promise." I whispered to my reflection in the mirror , promising to call Mike after dinner . I knew everyone was gunna wanna go out tonight for food . Before I went out to show everyone what looked like to be an okay girl , I pulled out the ring Mike gave me . So there , I said it . Im engaged to Mike . Or was . I don't know . I played with the diamond ring , and to keep me from crying i put it back in my dark blue ripped short shorts . I heard a gentle knock on the door . "Can I come in?" Thanatos asked poking her head through me door , I nodded and smiled gently at her . I knew she was taking it rough to . "Were gunna go out to eat now , you coming?" She smiled , gesturing for the hallway which seemed to buzz with excitment . "Sure." I smiled .

    I wanted to hug Aphrodite . To tell her everything was gunna be okay . To be the strong one , ya kno ? But the truth was that if I hugged her , Id start crying . Cause I was just as lost as she was . I picked up my moving box , that was actually pretty heavy . Even if I didn't wanna move sitting in a nice bed seemed 10x better than staying in this car for one more minuet . "Wake up." I murmured nudging the guys who doggy pilled ontop of each other half way during the ride . Each of them were sleeping , covered with left over potato chip crumbs and soda cans . "Why?" Achilles groaned , rubbing his eyes . His volcom teeshirt was dirty from the car ride .The guys decided a food fight would be necessary to enlighten the mood to Jersey . My mood was lightened , My moms not so much . "Cause were here." I said kinda flatly tilting my head in a miserable way . "Oh joy!" Ero's yelled in one of the most sarcastic voices ive ever heard . I had to stifle a laugh . I love my brothers , annoying yet amazing . Thanatos and Aphrodite kept quiet and picked up their suitcases while the guys chased each other around , yelling at each other . I tried to juggle my suitcases and boxes all in my hands , trying to ignore my dad's lecture . "Guys look how beautiful this house is. It was time for change anyway! This will be great for us guys , do you smell that salt water !" My Dad laughed drowning on and on . I smiled half heartedly , I really loved my Dad , he just didn't know right from wrong . I walked up on the porch , while my mom opened the door with a slim key .I had a feeling me and my mom weren't gunna talk for a while . I was fine with that . The Dark blue door slid open smoothly , letting us see what our new house was gunna be like . The room was outrageously gorgeous filled with antiques and pictures of amazing scenes . I was in no mood to investigate the house though . I went up the large carpeted staircase that winded around and around . Any kids dream house . I passed the second floor until I got to the third floor . Thats were I was told my room was gunna be . There were five floors to the house , the fifth floor was a big room on the top of the roof . Id check that out later . I gently mozyed my way down the hallway and opened the second door . Their was my room . It was painted lime green just like I said I wanted it to be . It had red cherry hardwood floors , the walls covered with amazing photography . My book shelves covered the room , thousands of books everywhere . I layed on my new bed and looked at the ceiling putting my boxes down . And I layed there as I let all the pain and hate and loss that seemed to explode all at once , tears streaming down my face .

    I let the tears fall out of my eyes silently . I looked out the window , trying to imagine a world without Mike . Well maybe I should introduce myself . My name is Athena Yancopoulos . Middle name Marie but you don't have to know that(: . Yes im 100% Greek and yes 100% proud;D . Honestly were to start with this I don't know . Well I have three sisters and three brothers . Aphrodite 16 , Thanatos 15 , Antevorte 13 . Since our names are all Greek god names I should probably let you know those are my sisters;D Most of us don't like our names . especially Thanatos . Considering shes named after the god of death;x . I personally like my name . Were not like a normal family . Our religion is ancient Greek . So basically we still belive in the Greek gods . I obviously worship Athena the most . Anyway the guys are named Zeus 14 , Eros 17 , and Achilles 12 . All the girls made it out with long really pretty blonde hair and Blue eyes . Olive tone skin and great body . The guys all made it out with Short brown hair and green eyes , athletic body and tan skin . I am the not so normal one . I'm a cross between both the guys and the girls . Special or weird ? You decide . I have really really tan skin . Naturally . Deep blue electric looking eyes and long wavy brown hair . I have a really great body . I've been told . I'm not usually cocky . Usually(: for Aphrodite thats a different story but ill get into that later . Currently moving from Wyoming . Currently in a hell house . Ever since Mom and Dad told us we were moving all hell broke lose . All of us had lives there , and to change it was not something we planned . The worse thing about it is im leaving my bestfriend and the guy who I fell in love with .. Mike . I don't know what im gunna do . Running away is always a thought in the back of my head . My dad is in his 40's . His blonde hair now grey from aging and hes pretty damn tall . He's a scientist and met my mom in Greece . My mom had short brown hair and green eyes .My mom really stupid . and crazy but she mean the best I think . im 16 if you couldn't tell . But me and Aphrodite aren't twins . Right after she was born my mom got knocked up again . With me(: So back to the story i guess . We pulled out to a big beach house . In the driveway was different sports cars . "My cars came in!" Dad yelled happily , waking the guys up . I snorted . The house was really pretty . not that i was going to admit that to anyone . It was huge , dark navy blue with white shackles . Millions of windows covered the house . The porch was beautiful covered with exotic plants . Sand was everywhere and you could smell and hear the beach . Inside you could see a lot of rooms with a big chandelier . "Welcome to our new life ." Aphrodite whispered whipping a tear from her cheek.

    It was the point of time that we were driving for about 8 hours . Between Dad's pointless pit stops , moms bathroom breaks it felt like i was stuck in our van for 10 years . It was also that point of time were you were annoyed with practically everyone inside the car cause you had to much "family bonding time." Dad said it would be good for us . Then again he also said moving to Jersey would be good for us . "Oh Athena isn't this just gorgeous!" My mom cooed passing pointless shops in the middle of no where . I rolled my eyes . Ever since I was told we were moving I refused to saying anything but a couple sentences to my parents . "Oh Jersey is going to be so much fun guys aren't you excited?" My mom asked excitedly her short brown hair pulled back into a pony tail , her glasses on the tip of her nose . Aphrodite barely looked up , sneering a little in reply . My other sister Thanatos , looked out the window watching farms pass by , the pastures sparkling in the bright sun outside . Thanatos whipped the tears on the side of her blue eyes and nodded . I couldn't take it anymore i was in the brink of tears myself. "No mom , none of us are excited! We had lifes back in Wyoming you act like you don't even care that were leaving everything behind !" I yelled trying to hold back that lump in the back of my throat . "Athena! You think that I'm leaving nothing behind! I'm giving everything up for you all!" My mom cried out , cramming her body to gesture to the guys sleeping on the floor . Anger bubbled up inside me . My mom couldn't be more stupid . She left nothing back there. "You sure act like it! We had a life and we left everyone everything you didn't even ask us!" I yelled whipping the tears off my tan skin . I played with the end of my Hollister short cut tank top . It was blue with hot pink , yellow , and orange flowers covering it . "Well what's done is done." My mom whispered and whipped her head around to hide her tear stained face in her Oprah Whinfrey : behind the scene book . I tried to cover up my pain and look out the window . This move was tearing the family apart . Life was just getting more and more sucky . It all seemed to happen at once . The farm land started turning into beach land . Sand covered the not so very well paved road , sea weed starting showing up on the side of the road . Just a little above the plants was a beautiful beach . All the different people , in different colored bathing suits , picniks , and balls being throw around . The deep blue waves crashing down on people . For a second I thought everything was gunna be okay . At that moment we passed a signs in big bold yellow script letters that wrote welcome to New Jersey , covered with a little spray paint that said fist pump in the corner . Right as I was about to smile , for the first time in weeks i got the text . It was from Mike . My mike . The words made my heart break and I knew moving here was the worst thing yet . I could barely look at the text again . It bubbly letters read : Athena ill never forget you.
