It's okay to cry sometimes.
Even when you think that there's nobody there.
Because you're not crying for them.
You're crying for you.
Letting it out.
If you need to be held...
Just wrap yourself in a blanket.
Take comfort in the fact that you're able to feel.
That you're able the curl up in a ball, and just let it out.
The pain in your heart is a feeling.
Like adrenaline, anxiety, horror, and happiness.
You feel all of these.
We're taught to fear pain.
It demands so much of us.
It just wants to be acknowledged.
So feel it, in your stomach, in you're throat.
Know that you will see better days.
Let the tears wash everything away.
Until you feel like there was no reason to cry.
Cry to earn strength.
When you're done, smile.
You got through it and you're strong enough to do it again.
