Humpday is Wednesday, but I learnt it was called so for a different reason. The beginning of the week is hard because you are going uphill. At Wednesday, the middle of the week, you have reached the hump of the metaphorical hill and are thereby going downhill, which is a good thing because it's easier.

hump day is just the day in the middle of the week. so like how a hump on a female camel is in the middle of her back, its in the middle of our week.
