A child of age that is almost a teen,
walks around school, nearly unseen
people would stop to whisper and giggle
while she would walk by on her way to class
she was called names like
stupid, weird, b/tch, and a$$
she cried to her mother almost every day
school was a miserable he// for her
because nobody cared enough to ask
if she was okay
as the year went on, it only got worse
she would pinch her skin until it bled
then run home after school and cry in her bed
when middle school came she was scared and shy
but she met some good friends,
all of the guys
she was called yet more names but now she had help
and to this day she has not made herself bleed
because her friends were with her
when she was in need.
