So I have
an older
sister
who just graduated,
like a lot of you Wittians. She's an amazing person, but
we've never really been close. Well, on her graduation day,
one of my family members didn't show. We were all together
one night, having this weird emotional talk which no one in the
house ever has. My sister brought up how he didn't go to her
graduation. He couldn't come up with a reason, and just
apologized to her. She said, (her addressing me) "It's
fine, just promise me one thing, you will not miss her graduation
like you missed mine. Just be there for her. It hurt how you were
the only one not there, and I don't want to see her go
through it. Don't make the same mistakes with Kayla. I will
duct tape you and rope you up and drag you there if I have
to." Then, she looked at me and said, "Make sure he
goes to your graduation," and I almost
cried.
