This is not to begin an argument, but
rather to share facts about the risks of getting an abortion. No
one responded on my first quote, so I've just picked abortion
as my first topic. Please be mature if you disagree with
me.
I am pro-life.
You can have your opinion, I have
mine. I don't agree with abortion, for many reasons. My most
strong argument is, though, that abortions can cause
complications later in life.
People who have had abortions have a doubled chance of having an
ectopic pregnancy later on. An ectopic pregnancy
is when the child is developing outside of the uterus, instead of
in the womb, usually in the Fallopian tube, although sometimes
implantation can occur in the cervix, ovaries, or abdomen. If not
treated properly, this can lead to death,
for both the mother and the child.
The chance of miscarriage and pelvic
inflammatory diseases also increases greatly.
And, not to mention, abortion has been linked to a higher chance
of developing breast cancer.
What I'm trying to say is that having an abortion can lead to
many health problems later on in life. Even though the procedure
is safe, the effects may not be.
