I am a star



I blend in, yet I shine so brightly
Lighting the path

Though I seem so close, my heart is far away

No one sees the fire that rages inside me
They see only the light
My light for them

It took me a while to be noticed
Yet I pray I shall shine on after my death

I am content to be the spotlight for another hero
While my light may not be noticed
But I will always shine on
