things are just so different now
different in the worst way
it's so hard 
when you see him in the playground
your eyes lock
but you know that he won't come up to you anymore
nor can you go up to him
and it's especially hard when 
he's walking home right in front of you
and the person to his left used to be your place
because you used to walk to the left of him
and just talk about worthless things
and he'd make you laugh so hard
you feel like things have shifted a whole different dimension now
and you just can't keep up anymore
why can't things go back to the way they used to
instead of all this secrecy?
