The same exact situation happened to me.. I think that the girl might just be mad because se liked him? That's how it was for me.. But maybe you should just be friends for a while and then date later. But those bithes thy said you were gonna beat you up? They're just jealous. Honestly I'd work it out with the friend first. Because in the end friends are what you need most
