My phone buzzed near my comfty bed, waking me up to see my beautiful friend Amanda sleeping by me and the morning breeze coming in through my open window.
I looked to see who texted me at 8:30 in the morning to find it to be no other than Spencer.
I quickly opened the text which read, "Meet me at the beach in 15 minutes."
I smiled to myself and quickly jumped in the shower to get ready.
I wondered why he wanted to see me, and not Amanda.
I mean he IS going out with her, and not me.
Even though I often wish that that could change.
Wait what did I just think???
No, I can't let myself think that.
I CAN'T be in love with Amanda's boyfriend.
That goes against every rule there is about friendship.
No. no, no, no, no, nooo!!!!
In about 5 minutes i jumped out of the shower and changed into 
a creamy, white blouse with light colored shorts and a brown belt to complete the look.

I tipped toed out of the house, trying not to wake Amanda and excited to meet up with Spencer.
I arrived at the beach actually early and saw that Spencer wasn't there yet.
I walked up to a bench to spot an extremely attractive teenage boy around my age, 16.
He had tan skin, blue eyes, and dark brown hair.
"Hey, mind if I join you?" I asked the gorgeous boy.
"Not at all...hey, you're Miley, right?"
"Um, yeah I am...Do I know you?"
I knew I would've remembered this boy, so the answer was obviously no.
"No I don't think you do..yet." He smiled at me and introduced himself as Cody.
"So what is a beautiful girl doing at the beach at thisearly hour in the morning?" He asked me.
Wait, what?? did he call me beautiful??
I looked around to see if their was someone approaching us,maybe his girlfriend or something.
"Miley? looking for someone?" Cody asked me, wondering why I was looking around.
"Oh sorry, I thought there might be someone else you were talking to..."
well I just pretty much ruined my chances of him thinking I'm some cool girl he might want to get to know.  He must think I'm a dork or something.
but he actually laughed, "Wait a minute" he started,"Were you surprised I called you beautiful?  Hasn't anyone called you that before?"
"No...never." I started to blush while awkwardly looking down.
I honestly never thought I was pretty.  I mean, I knew I wasn't ugly...but pretty? Beautiful even?
Definitely not.
I looked at Cody's dreamy eyes and saw both some confusion and embarrassment on his face.
Oh gosh, why does he have to look so perfect? 
We caught eachother's glances and held it for what seemed like forever.  Then, Cody leaned in until our faces were less than centimeters apart.  He was about to kiss me. HE WAS ABOUT TO KISS ME!
But then, I  heard a voice, sounding jealous and angry.
"What is going on here???"
I turned to face Spencer,
with his eyes watering and his jaw opened.
