Chapter 2
Kylie's POV

As Declan, Luke, and I walked up the steps of the bus,
everyone was staring at us.
I don't want to sound stuck up or anything, but we were pretty good looking.
I thought that didn't matter anymore.
The three of us squished together in a seat in the back.
The bus seemed pretty full, so I was guessing that we were the last stop for today.
I sat in the middle of the two boys.
The bus started moving, and for the longest time we sat there silent.Declan was the first to speak up.
"So... I guess were gonna be spending the rest of our lives together..."
Luke and I faintly nodded.
"I wonder what it is going to look like. Underground, I mean." he continued.
Luke and I were still quiet.
"I-I'm scared." Declan said softly, his voice cracking.
This time Luke and I looked up at him.
I took his hand in my lap and squeezed it.
"Why, bro?" Luke asked soothingly. "This is gonna save us, remember?"
"Yeah. I guess. I just don't understand how they're going to do it. And what about our friends?
I mean, Kyle's still back there. Same with Brian and Mike and Drake."
"I know." I said quietly.
"All of my friend's are still there. There's no way they all will be called down."
Luke took my open hand in his and held it.
"What's the point?" I whispered. "No one I care about is even in there. What do I have to live for?"
"I know how you feel." Declan croaked out. "I mean, I have a couple friends down there, but, they're not even that close."
"Same here." added Luke. Declan and I flashed him incredulous looks.
"Dude... you know your girlfriend's down there, right?" Declan said, almost laughing.
Luke shrugged and rolled his eyes. Despite the situation, Declan and I started cracking up.
"No offense, man, but your girlfriend's a (female dog)" Declan continued.Luke shot him a mock death stare, which made all 3 of us crack up.
People were turning in their seats to look at us like we were insane.
When we finally calmed down, Declan spoke up.
 "Ya know guys, it's pretty sad we have no one to live for."
"Yeah..." Luke and I murmured in agreement.
"So I was thinking, we should live for eachother."

Anyways, this was a pretty boring chapter, but next chapter they will be arriving Underground... :oi think that's what I'm gonna be calling it from now on...
