I sweetie! i'm sorry about the situation. but personally, i think you should talk to him about it in person. it sounds like it's somewhat of his personal problems that are affecting him. i know that I got very distant when i first told my boyfriend some personal things. it could just be him getting away from everything for a little bit. i don't think you should worry too much quite yet. you should talk to him in person, but don't act mad, just concerned and remind him that you love him and will be there through everything, you don't want to push him away more by getting TOO protective if he's just been a tad distant. don't bring up the whole thing about the girl until AFTER you guys are on moreso of a better level. i hope i helped, dear! if you want to, let me know what heppens then(: good luck, hun! ♥ it'll all be fine in the end. everything happens for a reason :)

dont worry, if you two are meant to be, you guys will be together.
if not, you will find an even better, amazing guy.
just remember, everything happens for a reason.

but try like talking to him on fb, if all fails comment on his page asking why hes ignoring you. talk about it!
