Honestly you should do what you feel is right, if texting him or calling him or even talking to him in person is what you think would fix your ex-relationship the do that! Me and my ex that were on and off finally called it quits last month but now we are gettin to dating again just taking it step by step! Just follow your heart girl!!

If I were you, I'd call up your ex (call him don't text, texting is so impersonal) ask him about him cheating on you. If he says he didn't do it, and you trust him, see if he wants to get back together with you. Then, I'd talk to the friend that likes you and told you that your boyfriend was cheating on you. You should set things straight with this kid, just tell him that he needs to stay out of your relationships, even if he is one of your best friends, if he really cared about you he'd want you to be happy and if your ex makes you happy then you should be with him, you know?
And as for all these people who don't like your boyfriend, as long as he isn't getting in the way of your friendships, I wouldn't even worry about it. If you guys are together for long enough and if everyone sees how happy you are together, they should warm up to him.
