OF COURSE it's wrong!!! Unless it's his mum or something (Idk. That Brandoncyrus guy did a quote about a guy who kissed his mum on the cheek...)
And I don't know... maybe he's saying it to get something from you? (Not trying to take sides but recently I read a novel and a guy kept telling his wife he didn't love her and she said she knew but everything he did for her said otherwise)
