chapter 1
"Caitlyn!" I screamed. I couldn't see around me; it was too dark.
"Caitlyn, where are you? This isn't funny!" I scream. How dare she ditch me in the woods like this.
"Caitlyn!" I scream. I hold my arms out in front of myself, trying to see into the complete blackness. Then, I remember the video camera.
I turn it on and switch it to night vision.
"Caitlyn?" I call. I'm glad I can see now.
The beam of a flashlight hits my back and I whip my head around to see who was there, only to find nothing behind me.
"Caitlyn, is that you?" I ask. She was quick enough to turn off the flashlight and duck out of sight before I could turn around.
"Caitlyn, this isn't funny! Just come out." I say. I hear a rustling in the trees behind me.
Something brushes past my bare legs, sending shivers down my spine.
"Ah!" I scream. The creature does it again, rubbing it's tiny, hairy body against my legs.
I start to run. I know that's a stupid thing to do when you have no idea where you are, but I ran away. Every time I paused, I felt the tiny creature on my skin, tickling me, grunting at me.
"Caitlyn!" I scream into the darkness one last time. I run around to a huge tree and climb it as fast as I can. I use the camera to seel below me, to the ground. I scan the ground looking for movement, any kind of movement. I finally see something, not somehting moving, something staying still. It's Caitlyn's alabaster leg, sitting motionless behind a tree. "Caitlyn!" I call. I put the camera away and scramble back down the tree, only to be greeted by a giggling Caitlyn.
"You are such a wimp!" She said. I put my hands on my hips.
"You didn't give me a fashlight." I complain.
"Yeah I did." Caitlyn says. She reaches into my bag, but there isn't a flashlight in there.
"Oops."

Author's note: I know, slow start, but it'll get better.
