Sometimes Chapter 1


"Whatever."
I waved my hand at him for the millionth time. I was standing in his front hallway, walking towards his door. He had just canceled on me. Again. And I bet I knew the reason.
"Daniella please!"
I kept walking and I just reached the door as he pulled me back.
"You have to stop doing this Glen."
Even though I didn't let it show, I was fuming, mortified even. How could he do this to me? I was looking forward to this day all week. I had bragged about it all week to my sister, now what will she think? But onto more important matters.....
He looked at me, with that look that said 'Don't be mad'. His innocent look I saw through, but no one else did.
"Don't do that Glen. It makes you look like an idiot."
I gave him a dirty look, freed my arm from his grasp, and stomped out the door. .
Glen stood there staring at my back, probably wondering if I would come back.
"Danny I'm sorry!"
I kept on walking and stuck my middle finger up, back at him, not even looking at him so he couldn't see the tears that were streaming down my face.
It wasn't a big deal that he had canceled on the concert I really wanted to go to, It was the fact he'd lied about it.
About where he was going instead.
But I guess that story will have to be told, some other day.
