Confused, on what way I should go.
Frustrated with all the thoughts running in my head.
Irritated by all the overwhelming feelings rushing through my veins.
Falling apart with every step I take.
My heart is crumbling in my hands as I walk farther away.
My tears are drowning them as they tower out of my eyes.
My hands are shaking as I’m falling to my knees.
My knees, they bleed as they smash against the warm,
melting asphalt.
I feel so insecure, so heartbroken and so alone.
Looking around for a familiar face.
Looking around for your glowing eyes,
 but all I can see is darkness arising from the horizon.
Wanting to feel your warmth being buried into my soul,
but feeling cold wind hover over me, like a dark rain cloud.
Walking around for some kind of closure,
Because that’s what life is like without you.
