You should tell him that even if you cant be together you really want to be friends, You had a good freindship and you dont want to ruin it. and you should do it in person because he wont take you serious in text. (:

have you tried talking to him in person. it's probably the best thing to do and let out your feelings so you can get some type of closure from him.

next time you see him sit him down and tell him how you feel without overwhelming him. otherwise you will always wonder what wouldve happend if you wouldve did this
