tell him you're not ready for a relationship. it will give you time to figure out your feelings for your best friend and for your first love. if he really, truly is your best friend then eventually with whatever decision you decide to make, he will be accepting of it. but, if you do decide you like him, always remember that there COULD be consequences for dating your best friend. I dated my bestfriend of two years, we broke up, and we don't talk anymore. & to me, that hurts. but it's different for every person and every relationship. maybe your guys' relationship is different than ours was and if that ever happened, you would still be able to be okay. just some things to think about* and remember, you don't have to make your decision tonight, he can't pressure you into making a decision that means so much to you.
