okay sweetie, this happened to me THREE times. and i was never the one to tell her! my mom and i are incredibly distant now and i have a feeling its because i dont tell her whats going on. be alone with your mom. go on an errand with her or hang around with her when shes making dinner, or help her do the dishes...something totally natural. and tell her how you feel about this guy and that you wanted to tell her but was afraid she would get upset. ur mom is the most important person in ur life. dont take her for granted and be as open with her as possible!! <3kaela

my mom was the same way; i wouldn't keep it from your mom, that might be used agaist you later for not being completely honest. but just tell your mom that theres a boy who asked you out and you really like him and you said yes, and tell her you just didnt want to do it behind her baack without her knowing.

i think you should get alone time with her like at home or in a car and talk to her..it can't possibly be that bad...and if she doesn't like that your with a guy tell her how much he matters to you and how much you like him...and get your friends into it(so they can say good things)

it's the SAMMME exact way for me, and this actually happened to me.. i had a boyfriend, and i didn't tell my mom, bc i didn't think she'd be happy with me.. but somehow, she found out.. and she was pissssssed. like, it was terrible.. but mostly because i didn't tell her myself. so the next time, i just came out and told her that i had a boyfriend, and she asked who, and a couple other things, and it was fiine. every once and a while she'd ask how we were doing, and alll was well. my advice would be to tell her straight up, and she'd understand more if you told her yourself!
